Cat Mobile Litter Box Usage Guide

Admin 08 de octubre de 2026

Here is a usage guide for cat mobile litter boxes (taking the Xiaopei Intelligent Automatic Cat Litter Box as an example):

I. Installation Steps

  1. Accessory Preparation and Waste Collection Chamber Setup

    • Unpack and take out the waste collection chamber, garbage bags, odor eliminator (such as N50/N60), and power adapter.
    • Open the door of the waste collection chamber, pull out the chamber body, and lay out the garbage bag flat. Ensure the drawstring opening faces forward and fold it along the dotted line. Thread it through the 'Y-shaped slot' and close the lid tightly to prevent air leakage.
    • Embed the odor elimination module (such as N50) into the groove and press it firmly to ensure a tight seal.
  2. Device Placement and Initialization

    • Place the cat litter box on a flat, hard surface, maintaining a 5-10cm distance from the wall to ensure ventilation and avoid obstructions.
    • Connect the power adapter and turn on the device. It will automatically enter 'Maintenance Mode'. When the drum opening faces upwards, pour in cat litter (do not exceed the MAX line).
    • Bind the device through the 'Xiaopei Pet' App: Enter the Wi-Fi password, wait for a successful connection, and customize the name for easy remote management.

II. Daily Use

  1. Cat Litter Management

    • The device has built-in sensors that can automatically level the cat litter, but check the cat litter level weekly to prevent overflow beyond the MAX line.
    • When cleaning the waste collection chamber, simply pull out the drawstring of the garbage bag to seal the waste and reduce odor diffusion.
  2. Odor Elimination Function Maintenance

    • If using the N60 odor eliminator, regularly replace the purification liquid cotton swabs (recommended every 2-3 weeks) to keep the air fresh.
    • After installing the odor elimination module, press it until it is fully embedded to prevent loosening and ensure effectiveness.
  3. APP Remote Control

    • Through the App, you can switch modes (such as Maintenance Mode, Manual Cleaning), view device status (such as remaining cat litter level), or execute cleaning commands.
    • You can set timed cleaning or manually trigger the drum rotation to suit different usage habits.

III. Training Cats to Adapt to Mobile Litter Boxes (General Method)

  1. Gradual Transition Method

    • Move the traditional cat litter box to beside the bathroom toilet and let the cat adapt for 1-2 weeks to reduce anxiety caused by environmental changes.
    • Use a training seat or aluminum tray to gradually elevate the cat litter box, raising it by 2-3cm daily until it is at the same height as the toilet.
  2. Transition to the Toilet

    • Make a hole in the training seat and gradually enlarge it while reducing the amount of cat litter to guide the cat to adapt to having its feet suspended while defecating.
    • After completely removing the training seat, place a small amount of cat litter in the toilet to assist with the transition. The training period usually takes more than 6 weeks.
    • Provide snack rewards during training to reinforce positive behavior. If the cat resists, pause and revert to the previous stage.

IV. Precautions

  • Safety Tips: Ensure the power interface is dry and prevent the cat from touching the internal drum or circuit parts of the device.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Thoroughly clean the waste collection chamber and drum monthly, and wipe the sensors with a soft cloth to prevent misjudgment.
  • Training Risks: Some cats may refuse to use the mobile litter box due to fear or habit. Adjust the progress flexibly based on their reactions.

If you encounter operational issues, refer to the device manual or contact customer service for video guidance.
