Burning Mobile Toilet

Admin 21 de septiembre de 2026

There are various incidents related to 'burning mobile toilets', which are detailed below:

Arson Incidents

  • Domestic Case: A 17-year-old boy named Li once set fire to mobile public toilets three times out of boredom. The ignition points were all concentrated around the ventilation fans, and it is speculated that the igniting material was likely cigarette butts. These three arson acts caused a total loss of over 30,000 yuan. Such deliberate arson not only severely damages public facilities and causes losses to social property, but also poses a threat to the safety of the surrounding environment and residents, reflecting the perpetrator's lack of legal awareness and恶劣 (evil) behavior.
  • Foreign Case: In New York, USA, a man lit a mobile toilet outside a residence in the early morning. More dramatically, he accidentally set himself on fire during the act. Upon realizing that his pants and shoes were on fire, he fled while trying to extinguish the flames. The police are still searching for this man. This incident also falls under the category of deliberate destruction of public facilities, and the man's behavior was extremely dangerous, not only potentially triggering a larger fire but also causing serious harm to his own safety.

Accidental Fire Incidents

A mobile public toilet that had been out of use for some time suddenly caught fire in the parking lot northeast of Qianmen Street in Beijing. The toilet, constructed of color-coated steel plates, was mostly burned down after the fire, although the cause of the fire remains unknown. For such accidental fires, they may be caused by aging or short-circuiting of internal wiring in the mobile toilet, or the spontaneous combustion of flammable materials under specific conditions. Since mobile toilets are usually located in public areas with high pedestrian traffic, if a fire occurs and is not promptly detected and extinguished, it can easily cause significant losses and adverse impacts.

In addition, there is a special type of toilet device called Cinderella, which processes feces through high-temperature burning. However, this does not fall under the scope of 'burning mobile toilets'. It is merely a special toilet device that works by using an electronic burner to generate a temperature of 600 degrees Celsius, burning feces into ash within 15 to 20 minutes.
