Built Mobile Toilet

Admin 23 de septiembre de 2026

Built mobile toilets come in various forms and have distinct characteristics, as detailed below:

I. Self-made Chemical Barrel Mobile Toilets
These mobile toilets are crafted by individuals using two chemical barrels. The modification process involves dismantling the steel reinforcement structure of the barrels, cutting the top covers and inverting them to secure the upper and lower iron frames, cutting out door frames and spaces for internal plastic barrels, and sealing gaps with iron sheets to prevent leakage. Inside, PVC drainage pipes, a simple toilet, a water tank, inlet pipes, a sink, and a showerhead are installed, along with a wooden door and handle. The drainage outlet is connected via pipes to a septic tank for preliminary treatment of feces and sewage. These toilets are cost-effective but require manual septic tank maintenance, making them suitable for temporary or low-frequency use scenarios.

II. Standardized Mobile Toilets
Standardized mobile toilets typically consist of modular components such as fecal and sewage storage tanks (or disposal units), floor slabs, sanitary fixtures, walls, washing facilities, water tanks, roofs, and mobility devices. They can be classified in multiple ways:

  1. Structural Form: They are divided into single-unit structures (independent units) and composite structures (multi-unit combinations), catering to different spatial requirements.
  2. Mobility Method: Options include lifting and handling types (requiring lifting equipment), powered towing types (tractable for movement), and manual handling types (lightweight design).
  3. Sewage Treatment Method:
    • Water-flush and Non-water-flush Suction Types: Water-flush types rely on a water source for flushing, with sewage requiring periodic suction for treatment; non-water-flush types collect feces through vacuum suction.
    • Recirculating Water-flush Types: Equipped with sewage treatment systems, they enable water resource recycling and reduce water consumption.
    • Dry Packing Types: These use biodegradable bags to collect feces, eliminating the need for a water source and making them suitable for water-scarce or environmentally demanding scenarios.
These toilets offer the advantages of mobility, modularity, and ease of transportation, allowing for rapid deployment in temporary events, disaster areas, or remote regions.

III. Types of Finished Mobile Toilets
The market offers a wide range of finished mobile toilets, including microbial mobile toilets (utilizing microorganisms to decompose feces), outdoor eco-friendly public toilets (solar-powered and water-saving designs), and prefabricated eco-friendly public toilets (modular assembly with short construction periods). Prices range from over a hundred yuan (simple types) to tens of thousands of yuan (high-end smart types), with customization options available based on user count, environmental conditions, and budget, such as air conditioning, deodorization systems, or barrier-free facilities.
