Beilin Mobile Toilet

Admin 20 de septiembre de 2026

The construction of mobile toilets in Beilin District primarily addresses the issue of 'difficulty in finding toilets' in older neighborhoods. By adding new facilities, optimizing layouts, and improving services, the toilet environment for residents has been effectively enhanced.

I. Adding New Mobile Public Toilets to Alleviate Toilet Pressure
Beilin District has added two new mobile public toilets along Andong Street in Taiyi Road Subdistrict, located at the intersection of Andong Street and Tai'an Street, and 100 meters north of the intersection of Andong Street and Jiandong Street. The addition of these toilets directly responds to the insufficient number of public toilets in older neighborhoods. For example, in Jiandong Street Community, due to the concentration of older residential buildings and limited municipal supporting land, there was previously only one mobile toilet. The addition of two new toilets has significantly alleviated the 'one-toilet-hard-to-find' dilemma, covering the peak morning market crowds and the daily needs of surrounding businesses and residents.

II. Well-Equipped Facilities, Combining Humanization and Intelligence
The newly added mobile public toilets are well-equipped internally, including sinks, exhaust fans, mirrors, odor-proof floor drains, sensor-activated flushing, and ventilation systems, ensuring comfort and hygiene during use. Additionally, the toilets feature disabled stalls and third-gender restrooms, equipped with child safety seats and baby changing stations to meet the needs of special groups. Some areas also have marked disabled access routes and barrier-free signage, reflecting the concept of barrier-free design. Furthermore, the toilets operate on a 24-hour basis, with dedicated cleaning staff and soft lighting at night, ensuring round-the-clock service and enhancing safety during nighttime use.

III. Scientifically Planning Layouts, Focusing on People's Needs
The Beilin District Urban Management Bureau has included toilet construction as an annual livelihood project, prioritizing areas such as older residential neighborhoods, backstreets, subway entrances, and school perimeters. This layout strategy precisely targets scenarios with high foot traffic and concentrated toilet needs, such as serving commuters and parents at subway entrances and schools, and filling gaps in municipal facilities in backstreets. In the future, Beilin District will also simultaneously promote energy-saving renovations and intelligent upgrades of older public toilets, enhancing management efficiency through technological means and further optimizing the resident experience.

The mobile toilet construction in Beilin District, through a dual approach of 'increasing quantity and improving quality,' not only addresses infrastructure shortcomings in older neighborhoods but also enhances urban public service levels through humanized design and scientific management, providing a replicable model for other regions.
