Moving the Bedroom Toilet to the Bed Position
Admin 08 de octubre de 2026
It is not advisable to move the toilet to the position of the bed. If the bedroom toilet door faces the bed, it can be resolved by adjusting the position of the bed, installing partitions, etc.

Adjusting the Position of the Bed
- Changing the Orientation of the Bedhead: When the bedroom toilet door faces the bed, changing the orientation of the bedhead is a simple and effective method. For example, if the bedhead was originally directly facing the toilet door, it can now be moved to a diagonal angle relative to the toilet door. This prevents the bedhead from directly receiving the foul air emitted from the toilet door. From a Feng Shui perspective, it reduces the impact of negative energy fields on the sleeper; from a scientific standpoint, it avoids the psychological discomfort of directly facing the toilet door during sleep and improves sleep quality.
- Moving the Entire Bed: If there is sufficient space in the bedroom, moving the bed to a location away from the toilet door is a better option. Re-plan the layout of the bedroom to ensure there is enough space between the bed and the toilet door. This not only avoids direct visual and airflow clashes but also makes the bedroom layout more reasonable, creating a more comfortable and quiet sleeping environment. For example, move the bed to a corner of the bedroom, creating a certain distance and angle from the toilet door to reduce the impact of toilet odors and humidity on the bed.
Other Resolution Methods
- Installing Partitions: Install partitions between the toilet door and the bed, such as screens or beaded curtains. Partitions can block the line of sight and airflow, preventing the foul air from the toilet from directly rushing towards the bed. Screens can be chosen in decorative styles, which not only resolve the issue but also add a touch of beauty to the bedroom; beaded curtains are light and flexible, preventing the space from feeling overly oppressive.
- Optimizing the Design of the Toilet Door: A hidden door design can be adopted to integrate the toilet door with the bedroom wall, visually reducing the impact of the toilet door on the bed. Alternatively, installing a door curtain on the toilet door, such as a cloth curtain or bamboo curtain, can also block the direct rush of airflow to a certain extent.
- Strengthening the Regulation of the Bedroom Energy Field: Place some green plants in the bedroom, such as pothos and spider plants, which can absorb harmful gases in the air, purify the air, and add vitality and energy to improve the energy field of the bedroom. In addition, maintaining good ventilation in the bedroom and regularly cleaning both the bedroom and the toilet can also reduce the impact of negative energy fields.
