Bayi Square Portable Toilets
The distribution of portable toilets at Bayi Square during different events is as follows:

During the National Day flag-raising ceremony in 2025, portable toilets at Bayi Square were widely distributed and abundant in number. Specifically, 15 standalone public toilets were set up on the north and west sides of the square. These standalone public toilets could meet the basic toilet needs of a large number of tourists and were evenly distributed, making it easy for tourists to find and use them quickly. Meanwhile, three mobile toilet trucks were arranged on the east side. Mobile toilet trucks are highly mobile and can be adjusted flexibly according to the on-site pedestrian flow, further alleviating toilet pressure.
During the May Day flag-raising ceremony in 2026, the layout of portable toilets at Bayi Square was adjusted. Ten standalone public toilets were set up on the west and north sides. Although the number was reduced compared to the National Day period, they could still meet the needs of most tourists. On the east side, three mobile toilet trucks were retained, with an operating time from 6:00 PM on April 30 until the end of the event. This arrangement fully considered the pedestrian peaks before and during the event, ensuring toilet convenience for tourists during critical time periods.
In addition, during the May Day flag-raising ceremony in 2026, a 24-hour open restroom was specially set up in the underground passage at Bayi Square. This measure greatly improved the toilet service level of the square, not only providing tourists with a more convenient and stable toilet environment but also alleviating the pressure on ground public toilets to a certain extent. The 24-hour opening of the underground passage restroom also reflected the meticulous consideration and thoughtful service of the square management for tourists' needs.
In conclusion, the distribution of portable toilets at Bayi Square during different events has been carefully planned and adjusted according to actual needs, aiming to ensure that tourists can enjoy convenient and comfortable toilet services during their visits.
