Bathroom Toilet Position Relocation
The position of the bathroom toilet can be relocated, but appropriate methods need to be selected according to the drainage method and relocation distance, and construction specifications should be followed.

I. Relocation Methods
Using a Relocation Device
Suitable for small-scale relocations within a range of 10-40 centimeters. For inter-floor drainage, since the floor slab cannot be excavated, the floor slab needs to be raised and a flat pipe laid. It is recommended that the relocation distance does not exceed 2 meters, and a drainage slope (with a slope greater than 3%) needs to be set. If the relocation distance exceeds 40 centimeters, the floor needs to be raised by 12-20 centimeters, and the waterproof layer needs to be redone.Converting Floor Drainage to Wall Drainage
Connect the toilet's drainage outlet directly to the riser. The relocation range is limited to the wall adjacent to the drainage riser (it cannot be relocated to the opposite wall). This method is suitable for both same-floor and inter-floor drainage. After modification, the risk of pipe blockage is relatively low, but a false wall needs to be built to hide the pipes, which can be combined with a niche design to increase storage space.Directly Lengthening or Shortening the Pipes
Only applicable to sunken bathrooms (with a same-floor drainage structure where the floor is about 40 centimeters lower than the floor level). In such bathrooms, the drainage pipes are located on the same floor, and the pipe length can be directly adjusted for relocation without damaging the floor slab structure.Relocating the Drainage Pipe in the Neighbor's House
For inter-floor drainage, if the neighbor agrees, you can enter the neighbor's house to adjust the position of the drainage pipe to the target point. This method has low construction difficulty, but it requires coordinating with neighbors, and its feasibility is relatively low in actual operation.
II. Precautions
Small-scale Relocation (10-40 centimeters)
The floor needs to be chiseled to lay the flat pipe, and the slope must be greater than 3%. Otherwise, blockage may occur due to poor drainage. After relocation, the waterproof layer needs to be redone to prevent leakage from affecting the downstairs.Long-distance Relocation (exceeding 40 centimeters)
The floor must be raised by 12-20 centimeters to form a slope, and the waterproof layer needs to be redone. After construction, a closed-water test should be carried out to ensure no leakage.Construction Specifications
The slope for floor relocation should be maintained at 2%-3%. For wall relocation, a special relocation device should be used, and it is recommended to leave a distance of 30-40 centimeters between the toilet and the wall. The waterproof layer needs to be redone in all relocation areas, and the waterproof height should meet the standards (not less than 1.8 meters in the shower area and not less than 0.3 meters in other areas).
