Dimensions of Bathroom Mobile Toilets

Admin 12 de octubre de 2026

The dimensions of bathroom mobile toilets vary depending on their type and usage scenarios. Here are the common types and their dimension ranges:

Single-Person Mobile Toilets

The length typically ranges from 1.1 meters to 1.5 meters, with some sources stating 1.2 meters to 1.5 meters; the width ranges from 1 meter to 1.2 meters; and the height is based on 2.2 meters, with some reaching up to 2.2 meters to 2.5 meters. These toilets are suitable for construction sites, small events, and other scenarios. Their design must meet basic usage requirements while considering space utilization. According to industry standards, the width of the toilet stall should be no less than 0.9 meters to ensure user comfort.

Double-Person Mobile Toilets

There are two common dimension standards:

  1. Long Structure: The length is 6.8 meters, suitable for centralized layouts in specific scenarios.
  2. Double-Stall Structure: The length ranges from 2.4 meters to 3.0 meters, the width from 1.2 meters to 1.5 meters, and the height from 2.2 meters to 2.5 meters. These toilets are often used in large events, tourist attractions, and other crowded places, requiring increased width and length to enhance capacity.

Multi-Functional Mobile Toilets

The length ranges from 3.0 meters to 4.5 meters, the width from 2.0 meters to 2.5 meters, and the height from 2.5 meters to 3.0 meters. Designed for high-end events or long-term fixed locations, these toilets may integrate additional features such as barrier-free facilities and baby care stations, necessitating larger spaces to support equipment installation and user comfort.

Prefabricated Mobile Bathrooms

There is a case of dimensions 2.5 meters × 6.5 meters, which can be divided into multiple functional areas (such as toilet stalls, management rooms, and tool storage areas). These toilets adopt a modular design with flexible and adjustable dimensions, suitable for temporary large-scale projects or scenarios requiring rapid deployment.

Design Considerations and Industry Standards

  1. Basic Parameters: The width of the toilet stall should be no less than 0.9 meters, and the height of the sink is recommended to be between 0.8 meters and 0.9 meters to meet ergonomic needs.
  2. Regulatory Basis: They must comply with the relevant provisions of the 'Design Standard for Urban Public Toilets' (CJJ 14-2016). Some regions may impose additional requirements on dimensions and environmental performance (such as sewage treatment capacity).
  3. Scenario Adaptation: Dimension selection should comprehensively consider the number of users, site conditions, and functional requirements. For example, tourist attractions should prioritize ensuring passage space, while construction sites should focus more on durability and cost-effectiveness.
