Basic Methods for Mobile Toilets

Admin 08 de octubre de 2026

The basic methods for constructing mobile toilets mainly fall into two categories based on different types and designs: using storage buckets and using storage tanks with pallets. Details are as follows:

Construction Using Storage Buckets

  1. Bucket Modification: Split the storage bucket in half lengthwise to serve as the foundation for the toilet's main structure.
  2. Installation of Mobile Device: Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board to facilitate overall movement later.
  3. Height Adjustment: Attach wooden strips and self-tapping screws to the upper side of the bucket to increase the interior height of the toilet, enhancing user comfort.
  4. Door Frame Construction: Cut an opening on the side of the storage bucket and install sponge strips to form a door frame, providing some sealing and cushioning effects.
  5. Wall and Roof Setup: Insert plastic soft boards to form elevated walls and place the upper half of the storage bucket on top of the wooden strips as the roof, completing the basic framework of the toilet.
  6. Drainage System Installation: Drill a hole at the bottom of the bucket to install a drain pipe as a floor drain, and cut another hole on the side to connect an interface, ensuring smooth sewage discharge.
  7. Sanitary Ware Installation: Install a toilet bowl and water tank, secure them with glass glue, and connect the drain pipe to a sewage bucket; extend a water pipe from the outlet pipe tee to the doorway as the inlet pipe for a sink, completing the toilet's sanitary facilities.

Construction Using Storage Tanks and Pallets

  1. Pallet Modification: Fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of a pallet to enable mobility for the toilet.
  2. Storage Tank Processing: Place a storage tank on the pallet and use an angle grinder to cut along the top marking line to remove the top, creating an open-top tank for subsequent sanitary ware installation.
  3. Tank Stacking and Fixing: Invert another open-top storage tank and stack it on the first tank, securing the outer frame with self-tapping screws to enhance structural stability.
  4. Doorway Creation: Cut rectangular openings in the outer frame and tank body of the storage tank to form a doorway for easy access.
  5. Drainage System Setup: Drill a hole in the interior floor of the storage tank, insert an elbow and water pipe, and seal them with glue to ensure smooth and leak-free drainage.
  6. Sanitary Ware Installation and Fixing: Place the toilet bowl over the drain outlet and secure it with glue; fix water pipes on wall clips, install a faucet and pipe cap, cut a hole after connecting the water pipes as the outlet for the drain pipe; apply glass glue on the pipe cap to fix a sink made of a stainless steel basin; connect the inlet pipe to the toilet tank, attach a shower hose, install a shower bracket and toilet seat, completing all functions of the toilet.
  7. Door Installation: Fix hinges on the frame of the storage tank, connect wooden boards to form a door, and install a door handle to ensure normal door operation.
