Livelihood Services and Grassroots Governance
Baiyi Town attaches great importance to livelihood services and grassroots governance, maintaining close contact with the people through various means and ensuring smooth channels for public opinion expression. For example, it consistently carries out open reception work, designating market days as fixed reception days. The town party secretary and mayor take turns sitting in for receptions, with leading team members and relevant department business backbones participating. They handle public complaints, policy inquiries, and conflicts on-site. Problems that can be solved immediately are addressed right away, while those that cannot are assigned clear responsible persons and handling deadlines for resolution within a set time. Meanwhile, the town also takes the initiative to conduct visits, organizing town officials to go deep into villages, neighborhoods, and farmland to listen to the people's opinions and suggestions face-to-face and resolve problems at close range. Additionally, following the closed-loop model of “reception - assignment - feedback - follow-up”, it implements a cancellation management system for problems and suggestions collected during receptions and visits to ensure that every matter gets a response.
Agricultural Production and Development
Baiyi Town actively promotes agricultural production and development. It held an on-site autumn agricultural production promotion meeting, where participants observed multiple sections of the modern agricultural demonstration park. Agricultural technicians provided on-site explanations of field management techniques, standardized Chinese herbal medicine cultivation, and key fruit tree management measures. As of now, rape planting and wheat sowing have reached a certain scale, and the harvesting of soybeans and sweet potatoes has been basically completed. In the next step, Baiyi Town will continue to strengthen guidance on field management techniques to ensure the effective implementation of various measures and lay a solid foundation for a bumper grain harvest and increased agricultural efficiency and farmers' incomes throughout the year.
Credit Promotion and Campus Construction
To enhance students' awareness of integrity, establish a good personal image, and promote the construction of a harmonious campus, Baiyi Town has launched the theme activity of “Promoting the Virtue of Integrity and Building a Civilized Campus” in primary and secondary schools within its jurisdiction. Through explaining integrity stories and cases, it conducts integrity education for students and encourages them to act with integrity, treat others with integrity, and study with integrity.
