Assembling Mobile Toilets in Vegetable Fields

Admin 05 de octubre de 2026

When assembling mobile toilets in vegetable fields, it is necessary to comprehensively consider factors such as type, installation, maintenance, and environmental benefits. The specific operations are as follows:

1. Prioritize biodegradable mobile toilets
In vegetable field scenarios, biodegradable mobile toilets have more advantages. By adding microbial decomposers, they can convert excrement into organic fertilizer, which can be directly used for fertilizing vegetable fields, achieving resource recycling. If other types (such as portable toilets or waterless flush toilets) are chosen, an additional fecal waste treatment system will be required, which may increase costs and operational complexity.

2. Ensure a flat installation foundation and adapt to the terrain
Mobile toilets are usually transported to the site as a whole or in modular form. Before installation, the vegetable field foundation needs to be leveled to avoid structural instability caused by uneven ground. Some products support height adjustment functions, allowing stable placement even on sloped vegetable fields. Installation does not require excavating a septic tank; only connecting to water and electricity (for electric models) is needed for quick commissioning, making it suitable for families with limited homestead areas.

3. Strictly follow fecal waste treatment technical specifications
Choose fecal waste treatment technologies according to needs:

  • Three-chamber septic tank: Treat excrement through three-stage sedimentation and anaerobic fermentation. Regular cleaning and testing of the effluent for compliance with agricultural irrigation standards are required;
  • Microbial degradation: Supplement with microbial agents every 2 months to ensure decomposition efficiency. It is recommended that the waste tank be cleaned no more than every 3 days, and disinfectants should be sprayed after cleaning to prevent the growth of pathogens;
  • Foam sealing: Use foam to cover the surface of excrement to block odors. Regularly inspect the foam generator and liquid supply system.

4. Pay attention to daily maintenance and safe operation

  • Movement and handling: Handle with care to avoid violent collisions that may damage the sealing strips and affect leak-proof performance;
  • Sealing inspection: If there is an odor, check whether the sealing ring is aging and replace parts in a timely manner;
  • Anti-corrosion measures: The outer shell is made of high-strength fiberglass or galvanized steel plate, which can adapt to temperature differences from -30℃ to 50℃. However, long-term exposure to strong acids and alkalis should be avoided.

5. Focus on environmental benefits and health impacts
Mobile toilets can reduce the risk of groundwater pollution from traditional pit toilets. The treated excrement as fertilizer is safer and more hygienic. Studies have shown that the mosquito density around families using mobile toilets can be reduced by about 60%, and the treated fecal waste can meet agricultural irrigation standards, truly achieving resource utilization and balancing ecological and economic benefits.
