For instance, a Danish container residence introduces natural light through large areas of glass while retaining the corrugated metal interior walls of the container, creating a contrast between industrial and natural aesthetics.
3. Personalized Decoration: Artistic expression is achieved through the combination of colors, materials, and furniture. For example, a container cottage in Xiaoshan, inhabited by a single young man, uses natural wood furniture and white decor, paired with a hammock in the courtyard, creating a fresh and cozy style. In contrast, the "House of Hope" in Costa Rica combines vivid colors with a green environment, becoming a haven for young people.

Sustainable Living Lab (Tsinghua University Project): Constructed from six containers, it forms a versatile functional space through modular design, including bedrooms, an experimental exhibition area, and kitchen and bathroom facilities. The base price is 180,000 yuan, and the total price after modification is 218,000 yuan, reflecting low cost and sustainability.
2. Poteet Architects Container Hotel: Recycled containers are painted blue, cut, and fitted with glass and sliding doors, paired with wooden walls and a balcony, creating a warm and leisurely space.
3. Adam Kalkin Container House: An architect in New Jersey designed a house-within-a-house structure using recycled containers, connecting indoor and outdoor spaces through glass sliding doors and an interior house-like structure, combining privacy and openness.
