Are There Mobile Toilets on the Grassland?

Admin 07 de octubre de 2026

There are mobile toilets on the grassland.

In some grassland scenic spots, the deployment of mobile toilets is quite common. For example, in the Wumeng Grassland scenic area, to meet the toilet needs of tourists, 40 mobile toilets have been placed within the scenic spot, mainly in areas with high tourist traffic. This layout can effectively solve the toilet problems that tourists may encounter during their visits, enhance their sightseeing experience, and also prevent damage to the grassland environment caused by tourists randomly looking for toilet locations.

The Inner Mongolia grassland also has a widespread deployment of mobile toilet booths. At large-scale event venues, such as the Naadam Festival, due to the large number of participants and the high demand for sanitation facilities, the deployment of mobile toilet booths is particularly important. They can be quickly set up and put into use, providing convenience for event participants. In popular scenic spots, mobile toilet booths can be flexibly adjusted in position according to changes in tourist traffic to better serve tourists. At pastoral settlement points, the installation of mobile toilet booths has improved the living conditions of herders and raised their hygiene standards. In temporary construction camps, mobile toilet booths provide necessary sanitation guarantees for construction workers. These mobile toilets also incorporate Mongolian yurt design elements in their design, giving them local characteristics and enabling them to blend in with the grassland environment. Their internal configurations are complete, with basic toilet facilities, and they can also perform immediate harmless treatment or sealed storage of excrement, effectively avoiding potential pollution to the soil and water bodies and protecting the grassland ecological environment.

In addition, the toilet methods in modern Mongolian yurts are gradually being upgraded. Some herders build simple mobile toilets beside their yurts, usually using wooden planks or canvas to enclose a relatively independent space and placing a covered plastic bucket inside. Although this simple mobile toilet is relatively basic, it can meet basic toilet needs and to some extent reduce the direct impact on the grassland environment.
