Architectural Mobile Toilet Dimensions

Admin 24 de septiembre de 2026

The common standard dimensions of architectural mobile toilets vary depending on the type and usage scenario, as detailed below:

Single-compartment mobile toilets typically have dimensions ranging from 1.2 to 1.5 meters in length, 1.0 to 1.2 meters in width, and 2.2 to 2.5 meters in height. These toilets are compact in structure and suitable for scenarios with limited space and low usage frequency, such as construction sites, small outdoor events, or temporary construction areas. Their design must meet basic usage requirements while also considering the convenience of transportation and installation.

Double-compartment mobile toilets usually have dimensions of 2.4 to 3.0 meters in length, 1.2 to 1.5 meters in width, and 2.2 to 2.5 meters in height. Compared to single-compartment toilets, their expanded space can accommodate two independent toilet compartments or one toilet compartment plus a management room, making them suitable for large events, tourist attractions, or public areas with high foot traffic. The design of such toilets must balance space utilization and user comfort to avoid overcrowding that could affect the user experience.

Multi-functional mobile toilets have dimensions ranging from 3.0 to 4.5 meters in length, 2.0 to 2.5 meters in width, and 2.5 to 3.0 meters in height. They offer more comprehensive functions and may include barrier-free facilities, baby care rooms, or management rooms, making them suitable for high-end events, long-term fixed locations, or areas with high hygiene requirements. When designing, special attention should be paid to ergonomics, such as ensuring that the width of toilet compartments is no less than 0.9 meters and the height of handwashing basins is recommended to be between 0.8 and 0.9 meters, to ensure convenience for different users.

In addition, some specially designed mobile toilets have significantly different dimensions. For example, prefabricated mobile toilets may adopt a modular structure with dimensions of 2.5 meters by 6.5 meters, divided into three independent functional areas internally. Mobile toilets with four squatting positions and one handwashing area can have a length of up to 6 meters, suitable for high-density usage scenarios.

Design Specifications and Regional Differences: The dimensions of mobile toilets must comply with the relevant provisions of the 'Urban Public Toilet Design Standard' (CJJ 14 - 2016), including requirements for ventilation, lighting, and sewage disposal. Some regions may impose additional requirements on environmental performance (such as sewage treatment methods) or maximum dimensions, and design must be adjusted in accordance with local policies.
