Appearance and Size of Mobile Toilets

Admin 22 de septiembre de 2026

The appearance and size of mobile toilets vary significantly depending on the type and requirements, with common specifications categorized into single-stall, multi-stall combinations, and barrier-free models.

Single-stall mobile toilets are the most widely used type, with size designs that balance functionality and space utilization. The external dimensions of a standard independent single-stall mobile public toilet typically range from 1.2 to 1.5 meters in length, 1.0 to 1.2 meters in width, and 2.2 to 2.5 meters in height. Some conventional single-person models adopt a more compact design, measuring 110 cm in length, 110 cm in width, and 230 cm in height; while mini single-person models for space-constrained scenarios are further reduced to 100 cm in length, 100 cm in width, and 220 cm in height. These sizes can meet the needs of single-person restroom use while facilitating transportation and temporary deployment.

Multi-stall combination mobile toilets enhance usage efficiency through modular design, with sizes expanding as the number of stalls increases. The length of a two-stall unit typically ranges from 2.4 to 3.0 meters, with a width maintained at 1.0 to 1.2 meters to accommodate layout requirements in narrow spaces. Large container-style mobile public toilets offer more flexible dimensions, with lengths exceeding 6 meters and widths exceeding 2.5 meters, allowing for multiple independent stalls or integrated functional areas. Specific examples include a double-person mobile toilet measuring 180 cm in length, 110 cm in width, and 230 cm in height; a prefabricated mobile restroom with dimensions of 2.5 meters by 6.5 meters; and another double-person model with a length of 6.8 meters, achieving functional zoning optimization through extended container bodies.

Barrier-free mobile toilets must meet special requirements such as wheelchair turning, with size designs significantly larger than conventional models. Their standard specifications are 180 cm in length, 150 cm in width, and 240 cm in height, with an internal space ensuring a wheelchair turning radius of no less than 1.5 meters, and equipped with auxiliary facilities such as handrails and low-position washbasins. This design ensures the safety and comfort of disabled individuals by expanding both horizontal width and vertical height, reflecting a human-centered design philosophy.

In practical applications, the selection of mobile toilet sizes requires comprehensive consideration of site conditions, user numbers, and functional requirements. For example, temporary event venues may prioritize single-stall or double-person models to save space; while long-term fixed public areas are suitable for multi-stall combinations or prefabricated structures, achieving capacity expansion through modular assembly. Barrier-free models must be mandatorily configured in specific scenarios according to relevant regulations.
