Anju District Modular Container House

Admin 16 de septiembre de 2026

The Anju District modular container house, represented by the Anju Jingxinyuan project, showcases the integration of high-rise concrete modular technology with the advantages of traditional container houses.

Technical Features and Construction Efficiency

The Anju Jingxinyuan project employs high-rise concrete modular 2.0 technology, integrating entire housing units into functional modules and achieving standardized design for “building houses like making cars.” The project scientifically divides the building into 800 functional modules, with 90% of the processes for each module completed in the factory, including structural, decoration, and equipment pre-installation. On-site construction only requires connecting the modules into a whole through reinforced concrete pouring, significantly shortening the construction period. For example, from the first lift to the completion of 30 floors and 696 fully furnished units, it took only 148 days, improving efficiency by about 50% compared to traditional construction.

Performance Advantages

The modular container house features earthquake and wind resistance, with its structure forming a whole through rigid connections between modules, capable of withstanding natural disasters such as earthquakes and strong winds. Meanwhile, the durability of concrete modules is superior to that of traditional containers, with a service life of over 50 years. Additionally, the modular design allows for flexible adjustment of the layout according to needs, adapting to different living scenarios.

Cost and Flexibility

Compared to traditional brick-and-mortar structures, modular container houses have lower construction costs, primarily due to:

  1. Material savings: Factory prefabrication reduces on-site material waste, with concrete usage reduced by about 30% compared to traditional buildings;
  2. Simplified processes: Modular production replaces complex construction processes, reducing labor costs by about 40%;
  3. Shortened cycles: From design to installation completion, it takes only a few weeks to a few months, significantly improving capital turnover efficiency.

If relocation is needed, the modules can be disassembled, transported to a new location, and reassembled, with a reuse rate of over 80%, further reducing long-term usage costs.

Application Scenarios

As the first high-density urban concrete modular high-rise building in China, the Anju Jingxinyuan project has validated the technology's applicability in urban renewal, affordable housing, and other fields. Its standardized and rapid construction characteristics also provide efficient solutions for emergency housing, temporary offices, and other scenarios.
