How to Make a Container for a 3D Building House Printer

Admin 17 de septiembre de 2026

The core of making a container for a 3D building house printer is to house the printing components and control device inside the container, combined with a retractable gantry structure and hydraulic balancing devices to achieve mobility and large-scale printing capabilities. The specific steps are as follows:

Structural Assembly

Prepare a mobile chassis, two containers, printing components, and a control device. Fix the two containers on the mobile chassis and place the printing components and control device inside the containers. Install a path guide rail and a set of telescopic supports in each of the two containers. The path guide rail provides a track for the sliding of the telescopic supports, ensuring precise movement. In the non-working state, the printing components, control device, and telescopic supports are all stored inside the containers, saving space and facilitating transportation. In the working state, the telescopic supports extend from the containers in a '┎' shape and are interconnected to form a gantry structure, providing a large working space for 3D printing. The 3D printing device in the printing components is slidably mounted on the gantry structure and can move flexibly on the gantry according to printing requirements.

Optimal Settings Optimization

  • Hydraulic Balancing Devices: Install at least four automatically adjustable hydraulic balancing devices under the containers. During equipment movement or printing, when the ground is uneven, the hydraulic balancing devices can automatically adjust to keep the containers level, ensuring printing accuracy and quality.
  • Printing Component Enhancement: In addition to the 3D printing device, the printing components should also include a mixing device and a feeding device. The mixing device is used to evenly mix raw materials such as cement, and the feeding device accurately delivers the mixed materials to the 3D printing device, ensuring a continuous and stable printing process.
  • Storage Tank Configuration: Set up a storage tank in each of the two containers, one for storing water and the other for storing cement. This design facilitates the classified storage and management of materials, allowing for quick and accurate access to the required materials during printing.
  • Telescopic Support Design: Each set of telescopic supports should have at least one vertical folding arm and one horizontal folding arm, with a locking device installed at the end of the horizontal folding arm. After the telescopic supports extend to form the gantry structure, the locking device can firmly connect the horizontal folding arms, enhancing the stability of the gantry.
