Zoo Mobile Toilet
Zoo mobile toilets are temporary or movable sanitation facilities set up to meet the toilet needs of zoo visitors when fixed toilets are insufficient or under special circumstances. The following provides an introduction from the perspectives of applications in different zoos and related product features:

Applications in different zoos
- Chongqing Zoo: During the May Day holiday last year, members of the district political consultative conference found that there was an insufficient allocation of public toilets within a 200-meter radius of the main entrance. Since adopting the suggestions of the political consultative conference members in May last year, the district urban management bureau has dispatched mobile toilet vehicles to stand by at the main entrance of Chongqing Zoo in advance during national holidays and arranged for dedicated personnel to carry out regular cleaning and maintenance work, effectively alleviating the problem of difficult toilet access for visitors during holidays.
- Suzhou Wild Animal Park: As a national 4A-level scenic spot, it can receive tens of thousands of visitors in a single day during holidays, and long queues often form at the fixed toilets. After receiving complaints from visitors due to insufficient toilets during the National Day holiday in 2023, the management began to adopt a hybrid configuration model of "fixed + mobile" toilets. In response to the special environment of the zoo, the supplier has developed a number of innovative designs, such as anti-animal interference structures, with 1.8-meter-high protective fences installed to prevent visitors from being startled by free-roaming animals while using the toilets; an ecological treatment system, which uses microbial decomposition technology so that feces can be directly used as fertilizer for the park's green plants after treatment; and real-time passenger flow monitoring, which uses Internet of Things sensors to monitor the usage rates at various points in real time for flexible scheduling. After deploying 35 mobile toilet stalls during the Spring Festival in 2024, the average waiting time for visitors to use the toilets decreased from 25 minutes to 8 minutes, and satisfaction increased by 40%.
- Wuhan Zoo: There are a total of 5 public toilets around it, among which the mobile toilet on Macanghu Road is set up opposite Cuiwei Road Middle School, providing visitors with a convenient toilet option.
Related product features Some companies produce eco-friendly mobile toilets suitable for places like zoos. The structural facilities inside and out are made of color-steel sandwich panel materials, which have the advantages of impact resistance, corrosion resistance, light weight, easy handling, and quick and simple installation. They are equipped with flush tanks, exhaust fans, electrical switch sockets, faucets, washbasins, waste tanks, or external sewage discharge interfaces. With humanized design, they have good insulation, excellent ventilation, and are warm in winter and cool in summer, providing convenient and comfortable use.
