Zigong Rural Mobile Toilet
Zigong rural mobile toilets are mainly divided into four types based on their container structures: fully welded fixed type, quick-assembly container finished toilets, foldable container toilets, and shipping container refurbished models.

The fully welded fixed type is the mainstream option in the industry. It is formed by fully welding 20-foot or 40-foot standard containers and is ready for immediate use after full-function assembly and debugging in the factory, followed by on-site hoisting. It features a sturdy structure, good sealing and waterproofing, a low failure rate, and a service life of 15-20 years. However, only 1-2 units can be transported per vehicle, making it suitable for long-term temporary construction sites, fixed locations in scenic spots, municipal parks, and permanent supporting facilities in factory areas.
The quick-assembly container finished toilets use modular prefabricated components. The factory pre-installs core sanitary fixtures and plumbing, and on-site assembly is quickly completed using bolts. Empty containers can be stacked for transportation, with over 10 units transportable per vehicle, and they can be disassembled and reassembled multiple times. This type is well-suited for short-term construction projects, relocation projects, and batch deployment of temporary locations, offering high flexibility.
The foldable container toilets have a volume that is only 1/4 of their expanded state when folded, and can be fully expanded in 15-30 minutes, providing extremely high transportation efficiency. The factory pre-installs core functions, and they are ready for use upon connection to electricity after expansion, making them particularly suitable for emergency disaster relief, epidemic isolation, rescue operations, and temporary outdoor work scenarios requiring rapid deployment.
The shipping container refurbished models are repurposed from discarded shipping containers, offering extremely high structural strength and impact resistance. However, they have a high self-weight, high refurbishment costs, and weak thermal and sound insulation properties, making them mainly suitable for niche scenarios such as extreme environment operations, industrial mining areas, and special supporting facilities.
All types must meet current national environmental protection and standards, including anti-seepage and waterproofing (container waterproof rating not lower than IP65, multi-layer waterproofing treatment for the ground, and corrosion and seepage resistance for sewage tanks/septic tanks), compliant pollutant discharge (compliance with GB 8978-1996 Level III standards when connected to municipal sewage networks, and compliance with GB 18918-2002 Level 1 A standards for on-site reuse without sewage networks), water conservation and environmental protection (single flush volume ≤6L for conventional water-flush types, and ≤4L for water-saving types), fire prevention and electrical safety (use of Class A non-combustible rock wool sandwich panels for enclosure materials, and electrical wiring routed through metal conduits), and land and planning compliance (strict prohibition of construction in basic farmland, ecological protection red lines, and river management areas), among other core requirements.
