Zhoukou Container House Project
The Zhoukou container house project mainly involves aspects such as the supply of temporary buildings, the construction of container operation areas, and supporting facility projects.
Supply of Temporary Buildings
In the Zhoukou area, Yujiang Packing Container Houses (containers) provide direct supply services from the source, focusing on the selection of wind-resistant and fire-resistant packing container houses. Their products use customized light steel frames, fire-resistant rock wool sandwich wall panels, and other materials. They are quickly assembled through bolt positioning and corner piece connections, suitable for scenarios such as living areas on construction sites and municipal engineering project departments. These products have characteristics such as light self-weight, high seismic resistance, and environmental protection and safety. Moreover, before leaving the factory, internal pipeline embedding and basic decoration have been completed. The on-site installation period can be shortened to less than half a day, and the overall cost is about 30% lower than that of traditional temporary buildings.
Construction of Container Operation Areas
The central operation area of the central port area of Zhoukou Port is the first million-level dedicated container terminal in Henan Province. It plans to build 22 2,000-ton berths in two phases. Among them, the first-phase project involves the construction of 13 new berths with a total berth length of 1,089 meters and a designed annual handling capacity of 1.075 million TEUs. Some berths have been put into operation on December 24, 2025. This operation area adopts intelligent equipment such as automated quayside cranes, rail-mounted gantry cranes, and unmanned container trucks, and is equipped with an integrated joint scheduling platform for ports, shipping, and locks to achieve fully automated operations throughout the process. It is located near Xiaoji Village on the south bank of the Shaying River. Thanks to the natural conditions of the area, such as smooth water flow, superior terrain, and stable river regime, it meets the requirements for the construction of large-scale container terminals.
Supporting Facility Projects
The operation area is equipped with supporting facilities such as customs inspection areas, unpacking and repair areas, container truck service centers, and production auxiliary buildings. For example, the budget for the procurement of facilities and equipment in the customs supervision area reaches 10.93 million yuan, covering inspection equipment, network construction, and supporting hardware and software. In addition, the water area is connected to the embankment through a high-pile beam-and-slab structure wharf platform and an approach bridge, while the land area is arranged with an automated container yard and a management center, forming a complete logistics transfer system.
