Installation of Mobile Toilets at Zhangye Road Junction

Admin October 01, 2026

The installation of mobile toilets at Zhangye Road Junction should follow a simple and efficient process, with core steps including positioning and foundation treatment, main structure assembly, internal facility connection and commissioning, while considering local climate adaptability and compliance requirements.

1. Positioning and Foundation Treatment

Determine the installation location based on site planning, ensuring a solid ground and smooth drainage. If the ground is uneven or the soil is soft, hardening treatment (such as concrete pouring) or steel plate laying should be carried out in advance to ensure installation stability. This step is the foundation for subsequent construction and directly affects the long-term use of the toilet.

2. Main Structure Assembly

  1. Split-type mobile toilets: Use a prefabricated steel structure chassis, place it steadily using a forklift or manual labor, adjust the level, and then install the wall and roof panels made of sandwich panels. Secure them with bolts or buckles, and finally perform sealing treatment to prevent water leakage. Wall installation can usually be completed within 1-2 hours.
  2. Integrated mobile toilets (box-type toilets): Since internal decoration and equipment integration have been completed in the factory, they only need to be hoisted into place and connected to water, electricity, and sewage pipelines on site. The overall installation time can be shortened to 2-4 hours, significantly more efficient than split-type toilets.

3. Internal Facility Connection and Commissioning

Install partitions, toilets, flushing systems, sinks (optional), lighting, and ventilation equipment, and connect water and electricity pipelines. Modular water and electricity interfaces (such as quick connectors) can significantly shorten connection time. During the commissioning phase, focus on checking the flushing function, circuit safety, and sealing to ensure no water leakage or electric leakage hazards.

4. Local Adaptation Considerations

In the arid and windy sandy area of Zhangye, mobile toilets should adopt water-saving or non-water flushing designs (such as foam sealing or packaging types) to reduce water consumption. At the same time, strengthen the sealing structure of the box and dustproof design of the ventilation openings to prevent sand and dust from entering and affecting equipment lifespan.

5. Compliance Requirements

Installation should comply with standards such as the "Hygiene Specifications for Mobile Toilets" (GB/T 21239-2023) to ensure structural safety and hygiene standards. If connection to the municipal sewage network is required, coordination with relevant departments should be carried out in advance; if used independently, a septic tank or regular cleaning service should be provided.

Factors affecting installation convenience include toilet type (integrated toilets are faster to install), foundation treatment complexity, municipal access conditions, and construction team experience. Reasonable planning can significantly improve installation efficiency.
