Zhangpu Public Mobile Toilets
Zhangpu County has achieved remarkable results in the construction of public mobile toilets, taking multiple measures to increase the number and improve the quality of public toilets.
I. Number and Distribution of New Mobile Toilets Zhangpu County has added six new mobile toilets on some main roads in the county seat, including locations beside Daozhou Middle School, Xingjiao Temple, the Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, beside the Biguiyuan Yujiangfu residential area, and beside the high-speed rail station. After the installation of these toilets, it is expected that there will be 52 mobile toilets within the urban area. In addition, focusing on supplementary construction and upgrading, eight new toilets have been added, five of which are "mobile toilets," mainly distributed in areas and road sections with heavy pedestrian traffic, such as the east side of Nanyi Road, beside the Jinlu Bridge on the Suidong Stream, the north side of Jinpu Avenue, the north side of Dating Road, and around Qingquan Rock in Dananban. Through these measures, the coverage of public toilets has been effectively increased, providing more convenient toilet facilities for residents and tourists.
II. Facilities Features of Mobile Toilets The newly added mobile toilets have many highlights. Their bright and eye-catching appearance can attract people's attention. They are equipped with complete professional deodorization equipment, which can effectively improve the air quality inside the toilets and keep the environment fresh. The interiors are clean and tidy, with facilities such as hand-washing sinks, grooming mirrors, and call bells set up to facilitate users' cleaning and emergency assistance. At the same time, these toilets meet technical requirements for water conservation, energy conservation, environmental protection, and ecology, embodying the concept of green environmental protection and helping to reduce resource consumption and environmental pollution.
III. Toilet Construction Principles and Design Concepts The newly added toilets adhere to the principles of "practicality, convenience, aesthetics, and environmental protection," introducing the concept of "ecology +" into urban toilet design. In terms of optimizing the internal structure, the practicality and comfort of functions are emphasized, so that the toilets not only meet basic toilet needs but also provide a more comfortable experience for users. IV. Toilet Procurement Project The Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau of Zhangpu County once organized a public bidding for the mobile toilet procurement project in 2020, with a budget of 440,000 yuan. This move reflects the government's emphasis on toilet construction. Through public bidding, it ensures that the procured mobile toilets are of reliable quality and reasonable price, providing strong support for toilet construction.
