In Daijia Lane, Yuzhong District, there is the 'Boxes on the Cliff Edge' project, where nine giant orange containers are stacked in a staggered manner on the cliff. This has attracted many characteristic merchants, such as the Yuanshengshe Performing Arts Teahouse, to settle in. This project uses containers as carriers for commercial spaces. Through unique design and layout, it has created an attractive consumption scenario. It not only provides business premises for merchants but also brings a novel consumption experience to tourists, becoming a major highlight of cliff-side commerce in Yuzhong District and reflecting the innovative application of container houses in the commercial field.

Container Applications in the Logistics Field

• Transfer Work: During the flood prevention safety inspections of ongoing river-related projects in Yuzhong District, 11 containers and panel houses were transferred. This indicates that containers are often used as temporary office or living spaces in construction projects and need to be transferred in case of special circumstances to ensure the safety of personnel and property.
• Logistics Transportation: Yuzhong District is deeply integrated into the construction of the Western Land-Sea Corridor. The cargo collection and transportation volume of key enterprises in the district under this corridor has exceeded 47,000 TEUs. TEU stands for Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit, which is a commonly used cargo loading unit in logistics transportation. The large-scale transportation of TEUs reflects the important position of containers in the logistics field. It can improve the loading and unloading efficiency of goods, reduce transportation costs, and promote the rapid circulation of goods.
• Shipping Projects: Minsheng Industrial, BOC Leasing, and Sumec have cooperated to launch a project for the construction and leasing of feeder container ships. Container ships are vessels specifically designed for transporting containers. This project will further promote the development of Yuzhong District in the shipping logistics field, strengthen its connections with domestic and international markets, and enhance its competitiveness in the logistics industry.
