Admin October 08, 2026

The following is information about the mobile toilets in Yongchuan Municipality:

Planning and Construction

The Yongchuan District Urban Management Bureau has formulated a clear plan to meet the demand for adding convenient public toilets along the Hongqi section of the Linjiang River. It plans to build a new mobile toilet beside the river near the Jianwei Family Compound in October 2026, with the district urban management bureau as the responsible unit. This plan aims to further improve the layout of public toilets in the area and enhance the convenience of public services.

Existing Supporting Facilities

The existing public toilet facilities along the Hongqi section of the Linjiang River are relatively well-established. There are six public toilets arranged along both sides of the river, including three at the Water View Park, one at Yuecheng, one at Qinghuayuan social unit, and a mobile toilet at the Hongqi Wuyang Urban Courtyard section, which was newly built and put into use in 2025. All public toilets are open to the public 24 hours a day free of charge to meet the daily needs of citizens.

Operation and Maintenance Management Model

After the new public toilets are put into use, they will be uniformly incorporated into the standardized management system for municipal public toilets. Specific measures include:

  • Cleaning System: Equipped with full-time cleaning staff to carry out daily cleaning and ensure a clean toilet environment;
  • Disinfection Management: Regularly carry out disinfection work to prevent the breeding of germs and ensure public health and safety;
  • Facility Maintenance: Establish a facility inspection and maintenance system to promptly repair damaged equipment and ensure the normal use of public toilets. Through standardized management, the service quality and user experience of public toilets will be improved.
