Yingxian Scenic Area Mobile Toilet
The mobile toilet in Yingxian Wooden Pagoda Scenic Area is a smart toilet, representing a combination of history and technology. It effectively solves the problem of toilet access during peak tourist seasons and enhances the visitor experience.

As a 4A-rated scenic spot, Yingxian Wooden Pagoda previously had significant shortcomings in its restrooms. With only around 20 stalls, the restrooms faced severe queuing issues during peak tourist periods, causing great inconvenience to visitors. To address this situation, the scenic area underwent a comprehensive renovation of its restrooms before last year's National Day holiday.
The renovated smart restrooms have significantly expanded in scale, covering an area of 600 square meters and increasing the number of stalls to over 100. The ratio of male to female stalls has been adjusted to 1:2, better meeting actual usage demands and effectively alleviating the problem of long queues for female visitors. Additionally, special facilities such as a third smart restroom, a baby care room, and children's toilets have been installed, fully considering the unique needs of different visitor groups and reflecting a human-centered design philosophy.
In terms of intelligence, a large smart restroom guidance system screen is installed at the entrance, displaying real-time information on stall occupancy, the number of people inside the restroom, and air quality. Visitors can use this information to quickly locate available stalls, avoiding blind searches and long waits, and significantly improving toilet efficiency.
The renovated smart restrooms have successfully addressed the challenges of limited space and fluctuating visitor numbers in the old scenic area. By expanding capacity, they have increased reception capabilities, while the smart guidance system has optimized the visitor toilet experience. Humanized supporting facilities have enhanced the overall visitor experience. Some visitors have described it as the 'cleanest, largest, and most pleasant public toilet they have ever used,' highlighting the significant success of the renovation and its wide recognition among visitors.
