By purchasing services, a subsequent maintenance mechanism combining government guidance and market operation has been established. Drawing on the "Yicheng Model" of agricultural production outsourcing, the county has planned the construction project of a cloud platform for the subsequent maintenance of rural toilet renovations, utilizing the advantages of third-party "intermediary" services to build maintenance service stations for renovated toilets. This integrates the rural "toilet revolution" with rural revitalization, achieving a favorable operational model where "fecal waste is collected, broken toilets are repaired, and the collected waste is effectively utilized".
The Yicheng County Agriculture and Rural Bureau has combined "Internet of Things +" technology to create the "Yicheng County Intelligent Management Platform for Rural Toilet Renovations", using information technology to address the maintenance issues of rural sanitary toilets. A total of 13 service stations have been built across the county, each equipped with one station head and 1-2 fecal collection and maintenance service personnel, totaling 35 fecal collection and maintenance personnel and 32 fecal collection vehicles. Using information technology, these stations serve 52,070 sanitary toilets across the county, covering 9 townships and 146 administrative villages, with a sanitary toilet coverage rate of 94.8%. As of now, the county's intelligent management platform has achieved 100% coverage in rural service areas; it has completed "fecal collection request" and "repair request" services for over 30,000 toilet-renovated households, received 19 requests and suggestions, with all over 30,000 evaluations being positive, and a 100% satisfaction rate among farmers.
