Yangshuxing Mobile Toilets

Admin September 23, 2026

The mobile toilets in Yangshuxing were donated by overseas Chinese, totaling six, with most of them already in use.

Donation Background and Conversion

Overseas Chinese originally planned to donate six permanent toilets to Yangshuxing Village. However, as no suitable location for construction was found locally, after consultation, the donation was converted to six mobile toilets. This flexible adjustment not only met the wishes of the donors but also adapted to the actual situation in Yangshuxing Village.

Placement and Usage

Currently, five mobile toilets have been placed and are in use, with the remaining one to be delivered later. These mobile toilets are distributed in multiple locations, including the racecourse area, areas outside the village, the yard of Erge's mother, and the reservoir area, among others. This layout takes into account the usage needs of different areas, providing convenience for villagers and tourists. Overall, these mobile toilets are well-maintained and functioning properly. However, there are minor issues such as the falling off of exhaust vents in some toilets, but there are dedicated personnel who regularly inspect and clean them, ensuring timely handling of such situations and guaranteeing the normal use of the toilets.

Attention and Impact

On April 9th, someone expressed their intention to visit and check the specific usage of the mobile toilets on April 11th, reflecting the attention given to these mobile toilets. During the May Day holiday in Shandong, the mobile toilets donated by overseas Chinese were installed and became a new tourist attraction in Yangshuxing Village. This not only improved local sanitation conditions but also brought a certain positive impact to the tourism development of Yangshuxing Village, attracting more tourists and enhancing the village's popularity and appeal.
