In 2022, Shanxi Province issued the 'Regulations on the Development of Green Buildings in Shanxi Province,' stipulating that the prefabricated parts of the exterior walls of prefabricated buildings are not included in the floor area ratio according to a specified proportion. In 2017, the Yangquan Municipal Government issued the 'Implementation Opinions on Vigorously Developing Prefabricated Buildings in Yangquan City,' providing support in areas such as engineering bidding, housing pre-sales, finance, and taxation, creating a favorable policy environment for the development of prefabricated assembly houses.

Achievements in Industrial Base Construction

In August 2018, the first phase of the prefabricated industrial base of Yangquan Ruifeng Construction Technology Co., Ltd. went into operation, with an annual production capacity of 100,000 cubic meters of prefabricated components. The company actively applied for and was approved as an industrial base, with business covering multiple fields. In 2023, its total contract value exceeded 20 million yuan, and its products covered markets in multiple regions, driving the development of the prefabricated assembly house industry in Yangquan.

Clear Development Planning

Yangquan promotes the use of prefabricated technology for the construction of public buildings and industrial plants of a certain scale, with an assembly rate of not less than 50%. By 2030, prefabricated buildings are expected to account for more than 40% of the newly built urban building area. At the same time, it aims to improve the versatility of prefabricated components, promote standardized design, give priority to steel structures for large public buildings, steadily promote prefabricated concrete buildings and prefabricated decoration, and promote recyclable prefabricated modular pavements.

Issues to be Resolved

Affected by corporate control and economic levels, most of the newly built prefabricated buildings in Yangquan are factories, with relatively low application in residential and public buildings. The modular system is not well-established, and there is a lack of effective integration of components and parts. The ability of design, construction, and supervision personnel to apply prefabricated technology is insufficient, and there is a shortage of relevant technical talent.

Applicability of Portable Cabins

As a form of prefabricated building, portable cabins are composed of a skeleton system and enclosure panels, with types such as light steel structures, container-style, and modular. They have characteristics such as fast construction speed, high flexibility, and the ability to be relocated as a whole. The design of portable cabins in Yangquan needs to take into account the local climate, providing convenient solutions for temporary use places such as construction sites. When using them, attention should be paid to details such as the flatness of the foundation and the setting of the drainage system.
