In Xianfeng Community, Lushan County, Ya'an City, an idle 12-square-meter container has been transformed into the "Jiajiale Neighborhood Space," serving as an activity venue for surrounding residents and outdoor workers. Through resident voting, four functional areas have been established in this space:

• Warm Heart Station: Provides free drinking water, seating, and mobile phone charging services for outdoor workers such as food delivery personnel, couriers, and sanitation workers.
• Shared Tool Room: Equipped with household tools such as ladders, wrenches, and screwdrivers, which residents can borrow for free.
• Child Protection Corner: Features a basic first-aid kit containing iodine, adhesive bandages, cotton swabs, masks, and other emergency supplies.
• Charity Bazaar Area: Sells daily necessities at public welfare prices, with all proceeds going into the community charity fund.

This space collects needs both online and offline and displays progress on a "Wish Display Wall." Daily operations are managed by community volunteers, with simple registration for tool borrowing and dual-lock management of the first-aid kit by social workers and clinic doctors. This renovation project, with an investment of less than 5,000 yuan, effectively addresses various needs of community residents.

Applications in the Rural Tourism Field

In Menghuo Village, Liziping Township, Shimian County, containers are used to open characteristic homestays, becoming a highlight of local agricultural-tourism integration development. Specific practices include:

• Container Homestays: Utilizing idle land at highway exits, containers are rented to farmers to open homestays, promoting villagers' income growth.
• Agricultural Product Trading Market: By clearing and revitalizing funds, resources, and assets, an agricultural product trading market is constructed and rented to third-party operators, forming a mutually beneficial cooperation model.
• Kiosk Rentals: Thirteen kiosks are built within the Menghuo City scenic area and rented out to local residents, increasing the village's collective economic income.

These initiatives have enabled Liziping Township to achieve a village-level collective economic income of 1.4 million yuan in 2025, providing a new path for rural revitalization.
