Xuzhou Street Mobile Toilet Design

Admin October 17, 2026

The design of mobile toilets on Xuzhou streets features lightweight modularity, reasonable color matching for concealment, humanized internal space, partial customization, and practicality for specific scenarios.

Lightweight Structure and Modular Design: Mobile toilets on Xuzhou streets adopt a modular design concept, with the main frame made of high-strength lightweight materials. Their weight is only one-third of that of traditional brick-and-mortar structures, yet they can withstand several tons of load. This design significantly reduces transportation and installation costs and can flexibly adapt to different site requirements, whether it's commercial districts, park scenic areas, or large-scale event venues, enabling rapid deployment and improving the efficiency and flexibility of mobile toilet usage.

Reasonable Color Matching and 'Concealed' Design: Abandoning the monotonous white or gray of traditional toilets, low-saturation Morandi color schemes are used, such as soft tones of light gray, off-white, and light blue. This color scheme allows the mobile toilets to blend seamlessly with urban architecture and the natural environment. For example, the mobile toilet at Pengcheng Square features an off-white main body with light gray lines, while the one by Yunlong Lake has a light blue main color with wooden texture decorations, effectively alleviating citizens' resistance to public facilities that 'spoil the cityscape'.

Humanized Internal Space Design: Despite their lightweight build, the mobile toilets have nearly 5 square meters of usable space inside, equipped with thoughtful facilities such as sinks, mirrors, and handrails, as well as ventilation and deodorization systems. The research and development team fully considers the needs of different groups, providing not only regular male and female toilet stalls but also specially designed accessible toilets and baby care rooms, demonstrating care for special groups.

Customized Design for Some Mobile Toilets: Based on the needs of Xuzhou customers, some mobile toilets have been customized. For instance, a toilet model with dimensions of 1.5 meters in both length and width is equipped with an S-bend anti-odor ceramic toilet, a ceramic pedestal sink, waterproof and anti-corrosion wooden veneer compressed cement flooring, and a ventilation fan, meeting the specific usage requirements of certain customers.

Practical Design for Specific Scenarios: Taking the movable public toilets set up by the Yunlong District Urban Management Bureau on Fengchu Street as an example, in response to the difficulty faced by female tourists and citizens in finding toilets, eight movable public toilets with ten stalls, all designated for women, were installed. These toilets are equipped with lighting, ventilation, and sinks, and the ground is hardened with unified drainage and temporary septic tanks installed. The septic tanks are emptied daily, and cleaning staff are arranged for regular cleaning, effectively solving the toilet problem in specific scenarios.
