How to Install Mobile Toilets in Xuzhou
Admin October 05, 2026
The installation of mobile toilets in Xuzhou can be carried out according to general steps, and appropriate solutions should be selected based on the actual situation if drainage relocation is involved. Details are as follows:

General Installation Steps
- Pre-installation Inspection: Thoroughly inspect the sewage pipes for any blockages such as mud, sand, or waste paper to prevent drainage issues during subsequent use. Also, check whether the floor around the toilet installation site is level in all directions to ensure the stability of the installed toilet.
- Determine the Center of the Sewage Pipe: Turn the toilet over and mark the center on its sewage outlet. Draw a cross-center line, and extend this line to the edges around the bottom of the toilet to provide precise positioning for subsequent installation.
- Accurately Position the Bottom Feet: Determine the installation positions of the bottom-foot screws of the toilet. Use an impact drill to make installation holes and embed plastic sleeves for expansion screws to ensure the toilet is firmly installed.
- Seal the Bottom Properly: Install a special sealing ring on the toilet's sewage outlet, or apply a ring of glass glue (putty) or cement mortar around the sewage pipe. The ratio of cement to sand is 1:3 to prevent sewage leakage.
Drainage Relocation Solutions
- Use a Relocator (Preferred for Short-distance Relocation): Purchase a ready-made relocator. Chisel out 20 - 40mm of the floor slab (before waterproofing), embed the relocator, and connect the pipes. The new type of relocator can also be installed after tiling. Leave a construction slot, clean the connection points, and apply PVC special glue. Prevent the sealing ring from flipping during installation and seal the empty space after relocation. The relocator is suitable for short-distance relocations of 100mm - 350mm, preferably not exceeding 400mm. A slope of more than 3% is required for relocations exceeding 300mm.
- Same-floor Drainage - Floor Slab Lowering (Suitable for buildings with existing lowered slab structures): If the bathroom floor is already recessed by 250mm - 350mm, you can directly re-plan the layout of the sewage pipes. Use an inclined tee instead of a straight tee to ensure a reasonable pipe slope.
- Same-floor Drainage - Floor Raising (Suitable for buildings without lowered slab structures): Build a high platform of 180mm - 200mm using lightweight blocks, embed the toilet's sewage pipe, and then lay floor tiles normally. There is no need to damage the original floor slab, but it will occupy some of the bathroom's floor height.
- Inter-floor Drainage - Relocation from the Ceiling Below (Requires negotiation): Negotiate with the neighbor below to modify the sewage pipes on the ceiling of their bathroom. During modification, proper waterproofing must be carried out, and a trap must be installed to prevent the backflow of foul odors. The construction is relatively difficult and depends on the neighbor's cooperation.
- Inter-floor Drainage - Wall-mounted Drainage (Suitable for wall-mounted toilets): Build a steel structure in the bathroom, embed the water tank in it, and hang the toilet on the steel structure. A Type II relocator can be used for wall-mounted toilets to enhance sealing and stability.
