Xunwu Ankang Mobile Toilet Installation

Admin October 09, 2026

The installation of mobile toilets requires adherence to a standardized process, with core steps including preliminary preparation, foundation fixing, core component installation, auxiliary facility assembly, sealing and debugging, and safety inspection. Specific operations should be adjusted according to the product type.

I. Preliminary Preparation

  1. Site Confirmation: Choose a flat and well-ventilated area, avoiding low-lying areas prone to water accumulation and water source pollution zones (such as within 50 meters of rivers or drinking water wells) to prevent sewage infiltration or odor diffusion.
  2. Equipment Inspection: Check the parts list to ensure that the main frame, toilet bowl, fecal storage tank, connecting parts (screws, seals), water supply/drainage components (water pipes, water tanks), etc., are complete and undamaged.

II. Foundation Fixing

  1. Main Body Positioning: Move the mobile toilet main body to the designated location and adjust the direction so that the doors and windows face reasonably (e.g., avoiding direct strong winds).
  2. Anti-Shaking Treatment:
    • Ground-Fixed Type: Use expansion screws to penetrate the base fixing holes and screw them into the concrete ground (depth ≥ 5 cm) to ensure tight fitting between the screws and the base.
    • Soft Soil Foundation Type: Place counterweights (such as concrete blocks) at the four corners of the base, with a recommended weight of ≥ 50 kg per block, to prevent shaking due to strong winds or use.

III. Core Component Installation

  1. Connection between Toilet Bowl and Fecal Storage Tank:
    • Water-flush toilets: Align the toilet bowl's sewage outlet with the fecal storage tank's water inlet, wrap with Teflon tape, and tighten the connecting bolts to ensure no wrinkles in the seal to prevent sewage leakage.
    • Dry toilets: Directly fix the position of the fecal storage tank, place a moisture-proof pad at the bottom, and apply glass glue to the contact surface between the tank and the ground to enhance sealing.
  2. Water Supply/Drainage System Connection:
    • Water-flush type: Connect the water inlet pipe (install a check valve to prevent backflow), connect the water tank to the toilet bowl's flush valve, and test the water pressure (recommended 0.1-0.3 MPa).
    • Waterless type: Skip this step, but check if the fecal storage tank's capacity meets usage requirements (e.g., ≥ 0.5 m³ for 50 person-times per day).

IV. Auxiliary Facility Assembly

  1. Door and Window Debugging: Install hinges and repeatedly open and close the doors and windows to ensure smooth closure without jamming, and paste sealing strips (width ≥ 2 cm) at the gaps.
  2. Safety Accessories: Install stainless steel handrails on both sides of the toilet bowl (height 70-80 cm from the ground) and hooks on the wall (load-bearing ≥ 5 kg).
  3. Circuit Connection: Connect the lighting (recommended LED lights, power ≤ 10 W) and exhaust fan (air volume ≥ 100 m³/h), test the switch sensitivity, and ensure the grounding wire complies with GB 16895 standards.

V. Sealing and Debugging

  1. Gap Treatment: Use a silicone gun to fill the gaps between the main body and the ground, and between the doors/windows and the frame, with a drying time of ≥ 24 hours.
  2. Function Testing:
    • Flushing: Flush continuously 3 times to check the toilet bowl's drainage speed (≥ 2 L/s) and the fecal storage tank's liquid level change.
    • Sewage Discharge: Dry toilets require manual cleaning of the fecal storage tank, while water-flush toilets need to confirm the slope of the sewage pipe (≥ 2%) to prevent blockage.
  3. Cleaning and Organization: Remove installation residues, place a toilet paper holder in the toilet bowl, and add biological deodorizer to the fecal storage tank (dosage according to the instructions).

VI. Safety Inspection

  1. Structural Stability: Shake the main frame to confirm no loose screws or deformed parts.
  2. Label Posting: Post emergency contact numbers and usage precautions (such as prohibiting the disposal of hard objects) in a conspicuous place.
  3. Acceptance and Signature: The installer and the user jointly inspect the functions and sign the acceptance form after confirming no issues.

Note: For vehicle-mounted or container-type mobile toilets, additional checks on vehicle fixing devices (such as locks and anti-slip pads) are required, and for environmentally friendly toilets, the microbial treatment module should be debugged according to the instructions.
