Environmental Protection of Mobile Toilets in Xinyu Scenic Areas

Admin October 06, 2026

The environmental protection measures for mobile toilets in Xinyu scenic areas cover multiple aspects such as production, leasing, management, and installation standards, forming a systematic environmental protection solution.

I. Environmental Design in the Production Process

The FHJC-02 mobile toilet produced by Dalian Fuhua Hengrun Industrial Co., Ltd. is made of color-coated steel plates, and the sewage discharge method can be customized. The core environmental protection technology is embodied in the harmless treatment equipment. This equipment can be used in conjunction with newly built or existing toilets to treat feces and sewage through physical, chemical, or biological methods. The treatment process is pollution-free, and the sewage used for flushing can be recycled after purification. The solid waste generated from degradation is harmless. The equipment has the characteristics of small footprint, flexible installation, automatic operation, and easy maintenance, making it suitable for areas with limited space such as scenic spots, and reducing resource consumption and pollution emissions from the source.

II. Differentiated Environmental Protection Technologies in Leasing Models

  1. Water-flushing Environmental Protection Toilets: These toilets adopt a water-saving design, requiring only 0.8-1.5 liters of water per flush, much lower than traditional toilets (about 6 liters). Coupled with a water circulation system, they significantly reduce water consumption. They are equipped with toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and other facilities inside, and some have dedicated stalls for the disabled, balancing environmental protection and humanized needs.
  2. Vacuum Self-priming Toilets: These toilets use negative pressure to suck waste into a fecal storage tank. They have high treatment efficiency and no odor, and the large-capacity fecal storage tank reduces the frequency of waste removal, lowering carbon emissions during transportation. They are suitable for high-frequency use scenarios in scenic spots, balancing environmental protection and practicality.
  3. Microbial Degradation Toilets: These toilets use microbial decomposition technology and do not require water flushing. Waste is converted into harmless substances through microbial action, achieving zero emissions. They are suitable for pollution-sensitive areas such as nature reserves and remote regions, minimizing interference with the ecological environment.

III. Environmental Protection Requirements in Management Regulations

The "Measures for the Administration of Tourist Toilets (Trial)" formulated by the Xinyu Municipal Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau clearly requires that the construction of tourist toilets must comply with standards such as the "Quality Requirements and Evaluation of Tourist Toilets" (GB/T18973-2022), standardizing management and maintenance, supervision, and evaluation. For example, it stipulates that fecal discharge must meet the Class I A standard of the "Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants", and mandates the use of environmental protection processes such as microbial treatment technology to ensure pollution control during long-term operation.

IV. Environmental Protection Standards for Installation and Operation

  1. Site Selection and Installation: Avoid low-lying and flood-prone areas. The foundation should be hardened with concrete. For temporary grasslands, load-bearing plates should be laid to disperse pressure and reduce damage to the land.
  2. Facility Configuration: Use low-energy-consuming equipment such as water-saving toilets (water consumption ≤ 6L/flush), LED energy-saving lamps, and ventilation fans (power ≥ 50W) to reduce operational energy consumption.
  3. Hygiene and Safety: Disinfect at least twice a day, sort waste for disposal, and reduce chemical pollution. Electrical equipment must pass 3C certification, and the grounding resistance should be ≤ 4Ω to ensure safe operation.
  4. Service Response: Provide a 24-hour after-sales hotline with a fault response time of ≤ 1 hour to reduce the environmental pollution risks caused by equipment downtime.
