Xinyu Environmental Sanitation Mobile Toilet Installation

Admin October 09, 2026

The installation of mobile toilets for environmental sanitation in Xinyu should follow the following specifications, covering the entire process of site selection, installation, configuration, hygiene and safety, and maintenance:

I. Basic Requirements for Site Selection and Installation

  1. Site Selection Specifications: Avoid low-lying and flood-prone areas. The ground bearing capacity should be ≥5 tons/㎡ (calculated based on the simultaneous use by 3 people). The installation location should be kept at least 15 meters away from water sources and dining areas, and at least 20 meters away from noise-sensitive points of residential buildings for nighttime use scenarios. If the groundwater level in the Xinyu area is relatively high, it is necessary to consult the local drainage plan map in advance to avoid affecting equipment stability due to water accumulation.
  2. Foundation Treatment: Use a concrete hardened foundation with dimensions not less than 1.5 meters × 2 meters. The surface slope should be controlled within 1% to prevent water accumulation. For temporary grassy areas, load-bearing plates should be laid to distribute the pressure. Alternatively, the entire equipment can be raised more than 15 centimeters above the surrounding ground. For ground hardening, it is recommended to use concrete pouring or moisture-proof floor tiles, with a slope of more than 1% to ensure rapid drainage of rainwater from the bottom of the equipment.

II. Installation Requirements for the Main Equipment Body

  1. Sealing and Rain Protection: Check the sealing strips of doors and windows to ensure there are no gaps when closed. Before leasing, require the supplier to provide a waterproof test report (focusing on testing door seams and ventilation openings). A rainproof eave should be installed on the top of the equipment, with an eave projection length of ≥30 centimeters. During the rainy season in Xinyu, additional drainage troughs can be installed to guide rainwater to the ground.
  2. Sewage Discharge and Anti-Backflow: The sewage discharge pipe should be equipped with anti-backflow treatment. When connecting to the municipal drainage system, it is recommended to install a one-way valve. When installed on the ground, a 5-centimeter-high water retaining platform should be reserved to prevent external rainwater from flowing back. Since the plum rain season in Jiangxi is relatively long, drainage holes and dehumidification devices can be added at the bottom of the equipment to avoid internal moisture.

III. Facility Configuration and Functional Standards

  1. Internal Configuration: Standard configurations include a hand-washing sink (with hot and cold water), an LED energy-saving lighting system, and an exhaust fan (with a power of ≥50W). The recommended ratio of male to female areas is 1:1.5. Essential configurations such as toilet paper holders, hooks, and anti-slip mats should be provided to ensure convenience of use.
  2. Environmental Performance: Use water-saving toilets (with a water consumption of ≤6L per use). For fecal treatment, microbial technology should be used, and the discharge should comply with the Class A standard of the "Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants" to reduce the impact on the environment.

IV. Hygiene and Safety Specifications

  1. Cleaning Standards: Disinfect at least twice a day (before the morning, noon, and evening peaks). Use neutral cleaning agents, and ensure 100% coverage of disinfection on contact surfaces. Garbage should be cleared daily and classified and disposed of at designated sanitation points.
  2. Safety Design: The height of handrails should be 85cm ± 5cm, the width of anti-slip steps should be ≥30cm, and the response time of the emergency call button should be ≤10 seconds. Electrical equipment should pass the 3C certification, and the grounding resistance should be ≤4Ω to ensure electrical safety.

V. Service Response and Maintenance Requirements

  1. Leasing Period: The basic leasing period is 24 hours. Overtime will be charged in 4-hour segments, and special scenarios can be negotiated for extension. When delivering the equipment, a "User Manual" and an "Emergency Handling Procedure" should be provided to facilitate user operation.
  2. Emergency Support: Provide a 24-hour after-sales hotline, with a fault response time of ≤1 hour. The maintenance team should be certified. In extreme weather conditions (such as thunderstorms and high temperatures), the equipment should be reinforced in advance and the inspection frequency should be increased. Before the rainy season, check the sealing performance, reinforce screws, and clear debris from drainage holes to ensure the stable operation of the equipment.
