Xinmin Street Mobile Toilet

Admin September 21, 2026

The arrangement of mobile toilets on Xinmin Street is planned according to different scenarios:

During the themed events held on Xinmin Street from September 20 to 21, the district urban management bureau set up segmented public toilets along Xinmin Street to meet basic needs. Especially during the drone show on the evening of September 20, due to a sharp increase in pedestrian traffic, the existing public toilets were unable to meet the demand. The district urban management bureau responded quickly and coordinated on-site with the Cultural Square Greening Management Center to add two temporary wheeled mobile toilets near the Jiefang Avenue area. These mobile toilets provided a total of eight toilet stalls, each equipped with dedicated personnel for maintenance, implementing a management system of cleaning after each use and timely repairs to ensure the hygiene and normal operation of the toilets. After the show, the newly added mobile toilets were removed around 11:00 PM that evening to restore normal street order.

In terms of daily support, since the opening of the Xinmin Street Historical and Cultural Block on July 5, the district urban management bureau has coordinated and allocated resources to add public flush toilets at Xinmin Square and between Yihe Road and Huimin Road to improve toilet accessibility for citizens and tourists. At the same time, during the events, coordination was made with units along the street to open their internal restrooms, further alleviating toilet pressure. In addition, four mobile toilets were added in high-traffic areas such as Tongguang Road and Longli Road, with dedicated personnel assigned for cleaning and disinfection, and charging lights provided for nighttime illumination, comprehensively optimizing the toilet experience.

Regarding the Changchun Marathon course, the 2026 FAW-Hongqi Changchun Marathon course passes through Xinmin Street, with 7.1 km running into Xinmin Street and facilities such as a water station, mobile toilets, and medical points set up at the 7.5 km mark to provide necessary services and support for participants. The placement of these mobile toilets fully considered the needs of participants and the特殊性 (particularity) of the event, ensuring the smooth progress of the race.
