Xinjiang Prefabricated Modular Housing
Xinjiang prefabricated modular housing is a new type of building form centered around factory-prefabricated components and rapid on-site assembly, featuring efficient production, intelligent integration, and strong adaptability.

1. Industrial Layout and Production Capacity
The Xinjiang Economic Development Zone has introduced the Chengdong Camp modular building industrial base project, with a total investment of 50 million yuan. It is equipped with a full range of production lines including cold bending, spraying, and robotic welding. After commissioning, its annual production capacity will reach 20,000 sets of steel-structured modular houses and 100,000 square meters of assembled houses, with an annual output value exceeding 100 million yuan. Yili Yiming Integrated Housing, as a representative enterprise, has a 17,600-square-meter production workshop. Its product line covers light steel structures, mobile space capsules, folding container houses, etc., supporting custom sizes and serving tourism, construction sites, mines, and other scenarios in northern Xinjiang.
2. Technological Core and Structural Innovation
Xinjiang's folding houses adopt modular prefabrication and spatial folding technology. The walls use high-strength galvanized steel plates as the outer layer, filled with rock wool or polyurethane foam insulation layers, and are connected by hinges to achieve a volume compression to 1/5 of the expanded state. After the factory completes the main body welding and insulation layer filling, standardized water and electricity interfaces are reserved. On-site construction only requires bolts or buckles for connection, shortening the construction period from several months to 1-2 days. The structural strength relies on "cold-formed thin-walled steel" and the "skin effect," with the steel frame and metal panels forming an overall load-bearing system. After weather resistance testing, it can maintain dimensional stability in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to 60°C, and the anti-corrosion cycle of connecting bolts exceeds 20 years.
3. Intelligent Systems and Environmental Performance
Intelligent systems are integrated into the building's structural layers. Sensor networks, power, and data buses are laid within the prefabricated wall panel interlayers. After the house is expanded, it automatically forms a network, collecting environmental data in real-time and processing it through edge computing, with key data uploaded to the cloud. The material recycling rate exceeds 90%, with the rock wool insulation layer being reusable. The cold-forming process saves 30% more energy than hot rolling. The construction process does not require on-site cutting or welding, reducing temperature control energy consumption by 15%-20% compared to container houses. The lightweight design makes the total weight only 1/10 of that of concrete houses. The steel structure nodes use flexible bolts for connection, providing excellent earthquake resistance.
4. Application Scenarios and Adaptability
The products are widely used in tourism resort camps, temporary construction site housing, municipal emergency facilities, energy and mining bases, and other scenarios. Taking folding houses as an example, their insulation layer thickness reaches 100-150 millimeters. Combined with prefabricated sealing strips and air layer design, they have low air infiltration rates and can meet long-term living needs, especially adapting to Xinjiang's climate conditions with large diurnal temperature variations and frequent sandstorms.
