Xinjiang Light Steel Mobile Toilet Design

Admin October 10, 2026

The design of light steel mobile toilets in Xinjiang needs to be optimized from multiple dimensions such as structure, function, and environmental adaptability, taking into account local climate, terrain, and usage requirements. The specific design points are as follows:

1. Main Structure: Corrosion Resistance and Modular Design
Xinjiang experiences strong winds, sandstorms, and significant temperature differences. The main structure should use weather-resistant steel (such as Q235B) with hot-dip galvanizing on the surface to enhance corrosion resistance. The steel frame is covered with anti-corrosion panels to form a closed protective layer. The design adopts a detachable modular structure connected by high-strength bolts, facilitating on-site assembly and later maintenance while adapting to transportation conditions in remote areas of Xinjiang.

2. Spatial Layout: Combining Functional Zoning with Ergonomics
The interior space should balance practicality and comfort. The handwashing area, toilet area, and storage area should be arranged linearly or in an L-shape according to the usage flow to minimize crossing paths. Ventilation ducts and sewage outlets should be embedded within the structural sandwich to prevent exposed components from being eroded by wind and sand. The toilet area should have sufficient space (recommended width ≥ 900mm) to ensure user convenience.

3. Environmental Adaptation: Insulation, Wind Resistance, and Energy Efficiency

  • Insulation: In winter, a 5cm thick insulation cotton layer should be added, while in summer, an aluminum foil reflective layer should be used. Combined with metal alloy and polymer composite sandwich walls, the indoor temperature difference can be controlled within ±5℃, adapting to the significant day-night temperature variations in Xinjiang.
  • Wind Resistance: The foundation should use concrete ballast blocks, and the overall structure should be able to withstand wind forces up to Level 10, ensuring stability in complex terrains such as construction sites and deserts.
  • Energy Supply: Priority should be given to using a combination of solar photovoltaic panels and low-voltage energy storage devices to meet basic needs such as lighting and ventilation, reducing reliance on the traditional power grid.

4. Waterproofing and Odor Control: Sealing Treatment and Microbial Technology
The floor should be coated with polyurethane waterproof paint, and waterproof membranes should be applied at joints to prevent sewage leakage. High-end models should be equipped with microbial treatment devices that decompose feces through bacterial strains, reducing odor diffusion. The treated sewage can be directly discharged into the municipal sewage network, suitable for areas in Xinjiang with scarce water resources.

5. Installation and Transportation: Efficient Positioning and Folding Design
Equipped with a hydraulic lifting system, a single person can complete site positioning with a horizontal error controlled within 3mm. The bottom should be designed with standardized lifting slots, allowing a 25-ton crane to complete relocation within 30 minutes. When not in use, the overall structure can be compressed in volume through a hydraulic folding mechanism, reducing transportation costs and adapting to the wide distribution of usage scenarios in Xinjiang.
