Xinan Mobile Toilet

Admin September 20, 2026

Mobile "Easy Station" public toilets have been installed and are open for free use in Xinan Subdistrict. Here is a detailed introduction to the "Easy Station" mobile toilets in Xinan:

I. Construction and Distribution
Recently, a total of 20 street-featured mobile "Easy Stations" have been installed across eight subdistricts in Bao'an District, Shenzhen, including Xinan Subdistrict, and are open to citizens and tourists free of charge. These toilets are constructed using modular prefabricated lightweight steel structures, assembled from 2-4 modular components through hoisting. They can be built and put into use in just half a day, featuring rapid deployment and flexible mobility, efficiently meeting the toilet needs in urban public areas.

II. Design and Technology
The exterior design of the "Easy Stations" incorporates elements of Bao'an's landmark buildings, with 55-inch LED screens on the outer walls, combining a sense of technology with regional cultural characteristics. Internally, relying on internet and artificial intelligence technologies, real-time information such as toilet occupancy statistics, remaining vacant stalls, and environmental monitoring data is displayed on screens, enhancing user convenience. In terms of environmental protection technology, advanced methods such as vacuum suction, microbial degradation, and air sterilization are employed, effectively addressing the odor issues and "not-in-my-backyard" (NIMBY) effect of traditional toilets, achieving green and low-carbon operation.

III. Facilities and Services

  1. Barrier-free and Elderly-Friendly Design: Handrails are installed inside the stalls for the convenience of the elderly; a third restroom is added to meet the needs of special groups.
  2. Child-Friendly Facilities: Equipped with child-sized sinks, child-sized toilets, folding baby seats, and changing tables, catering to family usage scenarios.
  3. Convenience Services: Self-service vending machines, shared power banks, shared umbrellas, shared tissues, and other facilities are set up externally, and a "Worker's Harbor" is planned to provide rest spaces for sanitation workers, food delivery personnel, etc.

IV. Functional Advantages
Through modular design, intelligent management, environmental protection technology, and user-friendly facilities, the "Easy Stations" have upgraded public toilets from a single function to a comprehensive service space, enhancing urban public service levels and reflecting meticulous care for the needs of different groups of people.
