Customization of Mobile Toilets in Xianning Scenic Area

Admin October 08, 2026

The customization of mobile toilets in Xianning scenic area should be designed specifically around the actual needs of the scenic area, covering functional configuration, environmental adaptation, technology selection, and full-process services, ultimately achieving coordination between facilities and scenic area operations and ecological protection.

1. Functional Configuration Should Meet the Operational Needs of the Scenic Area

The core of customization is to meet the adaptability of public facilities in the scenic area. The ratio of toilet stalls should be determined based on tourist flow, duration of stay, sightseeing routes, and differences in usage between men and women. For example, scenic areas with high tourist flow during peak seasons need to increase the number of toilet stalls and reasonably plan the ratio of male to female stalls (usually configured at 1:1.5-2). If the scenic area has family tourists or special groups, barrier-free rooms, third toilets, and baby changing stations should be provided. The management room is used for storing cleaning tools, consumables, and operation and maintenance equipment. In addition, the width of aisles, clarity of signage, and frequency of waste removal should be designed in conjunction with sightseeing routes to avoid queues or sanitary blind spots.

2. Environmental Adaptation Should Consider Geographical and Climatic Conditions

The type of scenic area directly affects the direction of customization:

  • Mountainous Scenic Areas: Issues such as slope, lifting, and moisture and corrosion resistance need to be addressed. Light steel or metal composite panel structures should be used, and the chassis should be adapted to skid-mounted bases to enhance stability.
  • Waterfront Wetlands: The impact of sewage discharge on the ecosystem needs to be controlled. Priority should be given to microbial degradation or foam sealing technology to reduce water pollution.
  • High-Altitude Areas: The risk of low-temperature freezing and cracking needs to be addressed. Freeze-resistant water tanks, insulated pipes, and cold-resistant materials should be used.
  • Desert and Gobi Regions: Water conservation, wind and sand resistance, and weather resistance need to be enhanced. Vacuum negative pressure or packaged collection technology should be used, and sand-proof sealed doors should be equipped.

3. Technology Selection Should Balance Environmental Protection and Intelligent Management

Technology focuses on modularity, environmental protection treatment, and intelligent configuration:

  • Modular Structure: The main body uses light steel, anti-corrosion wood, or metal composite panels. Through prefabricated structures, it can be lifted as a whole or assembled on-site. The chassis can be adapted to trailers, skid-mounted, or fixed bases for rapid deployment and relocation.
  • Environmental Protection Treatment Technology: Fecal waste treatment methods should be selected based on regional conditions, such as microbial degradation or foam sealing in water-scarce areas, packaged collection in ecologically sensitive areas, and vacuum negative pressure for freeze prevention in cold areas.
  • Intelligent Management System: It integrates tourist flow monitoring, overflow alarms, ammonia gas and temperature and humidity sensors, photovoltaic power supply, induction lighting, and remote operation and maintenance interfaces to achieve real-time monitoring and efficient operation and maintenance.

4. Full-Process Services Ensure the Quality of Facility Implementation

The customization process starts with on-site surveys. A plan should be formed by considering scenic area planning, geological conditions, water and electricity access, sewage discharge directions, and transportation routes. Then, structural design, sample confirmation, manufacturing, transportation, installation, and commissioning and acceptance should be carried out. During the operation and maintenance phase, specifications for freeze prevention, odor control, pest control, corrosion prevention, and cleaning should be formulated. The process for fecal waste removal or on-site treatment should be clarified, and management personnel should be trained. If the scenic area is located in a visually sensitive area, color, material, and shielding designs should be used to reduce visual incongrity and make the facilities harmonious with the surrounding environment.
