Mobile toilets in Lintong, Xi'an, have been put into use in batches, covering multiple locations and featuring distinctive designs and comprehensive facilities.

Commissioning Status

Lintong District has successively opened two batches of mobile public restrooms. The first batch of 9 locations was officially launched on March 12, with daily opening hours from 6:00 to 23:00; another 4 locations are planned to open in the near future, with specific dates to be announced officially.

Distribution of Open Locations

• 9 locations opened on March 12:
  Northeast corner of the intersection of Jiangzhai Road and Renmin Road, beside the trash bin at the southeast corner of the intersection of Wenhua Road and Renmin North Road, 20 meters west of Lintong Primary School, south of the playground at Lishan Middle School (opposite Luliao), north side of Piying Square, sidewalk at the south gate of Phase II of Ruilin Junfu, opposite the west gate of Shiyou City, gas billing intersection at the west end of Renmin Road, opposite Lvyuan Community on Dongguan Zheng Street.
• 4 locations planned to open soon:
  Opposite Xi'an Engineering University, southwest corner of the intersection of Wannian Road East and Zhuanfang Road, opposite Xi'an University of Science and Technology, 200 meters north of the west gate of Shiyou City.

Design Features

The design of the mobile toilets fully incorporates the cultural heritage of Lintong, with "Qin Style and Tang Rhythm" as the main theme:

• Western City Area: Adopts a Tang cultural theme, with the exterior and interior decorations reflecting the architectural style of the Tang Dynasty, such as eaves and carved patterns.
• Northern City Area: Adopts a Qin cultural theme, drawing inspiration from the simple lines of the Terracotta Army of the Qin Dynasty to highlight the historical weight.
  This design breaks away from the monotonous pattern of traditional public restrooms and serves as a window for displaying urban culture.

Facility Configuration

Each mobile restroom follows a "3+1+1" layout, namely 3 regular toilet stalls, 1 toilet stall for the disabled, and 1 utility room, and is equipped with the following facilities:

• General Facilities: Sensor faucets, one-piece stamped water-flush squat toilets, stainless steel coat hooks, anti-fog grooming mirrors, hand dryers, stainless steel waste bins, automatic exhaust systems, and inter-stall alarm systems.
• Facilities for the Disabled: High-end ceramic toilets, pedestal sinks, stainless steel handrails to ensure barrier-free use.
• Hygiene and Safety: The inter-stall alarm system can promptly respond to emergencies, and the automatic exhaust system maintains fresh air.
