Wuwei Construction Site Portable Toilet Installation

Admin October 08, 2026

The installation of portable toilets at construction sites in Wuwei should be carried out in combination with the characteristics of modular construction, selecting either integral hoisting or towing methods based on site conditions, and configuring appropriate sewage systems and material components.

1. Selection of Installation Methods

  1. Integral Hoisting Method: Suitable for construction sites with good road access and where hoisting equipment can enter. The complete prefabricated box (including frame, wall panels, sanitary fixtures, etc.) is directly hoisted to the designated location using a crane. This method offers high installation efficiency but requires prior planning of the hoisting path and foundation bearing capacity.
  2. Towing Method: For construction sites with limited space or requiring frequent relocation, a steerable axle and towing device are installed at the bottom of the box, allowing it to be towed by a truck. Ensure that the external dimensions of the box comply with the transportation standards of freight vehicles (e.g., width ≤ 2.5 meters) to avoid over-limit transportation.

2. Configuration of Sewage Systems

  1. Collection and Temporary Storage Method: Equipped with a sealed sewage storage tank, sewage is collected into the tank by gravity or pumping and regularly cleared by professional suction trucks. This method is suitable for short-term projects or construction sites with convenient sewage removal conditions. It requires the reservation of a sewage suction interface and ensures the tightness of the tank.
  2. On-site Treatment Method: Integrates biochemical (e.g., microbial decomposition) or physicochemical (e.g., membrane filtration) treatment units to convert sewage into harmless liquids or solids, reducing the frequency of sewage removal. This method is suitable for long-term projects or scenarios with high environmental protection requirements but requires regular maintenance of the treatment equipment.

3. Requirements for Materials and Components

  1. Frame Material: Preferably use galvanized steel plates, aluminum alloys, or fiberglass-reinforced plastics, balancing lightweight design with structural strength to accommodate multiple relocations.
  2. Interior Wall Material: Adopt waterproof and corrosion-resistant materials such as stainless steel and engineering plastics to prevent sewage corrosion and facilitate cleaning.
  3. Independent Water Tank System: Some models are equipped with water tanks made of polymer composites or metal sheets to supply flushing water and collect sewage. Ensure the tightness of the water tank and the stable connection with sanitary fixtures.

4. Key Points for Installation of Special Models

Taking stainless steel waterless packing squat toilets as an example:

  • Buried Model: Requires prior waterproofing of the ground surface. Use a level to level the ground, install a steel frame, add rubber pads for shock absorption, and finally level the squat toilet and test its tightness.
  • Floor-standing Bracket Model: Installed directly on a hardened ground surface. Ensure that the bracket is firmly connected to the ground to prevent displacement due to vibration during use.

After installation, check whether the connections between components are tight, whether the sewage system is unobstructed, and conduct the first use test according to the instructions to ensure the normal functioning of the portable toilet.
