Wushan Container House Installation

Admin September 15, 2026

The installation of container houses in Wushan requires selecting corresponding plans based on specific types. The core steps include foundation preparation, frame installation, wall and roof assembly, interior decoration, and acceptance inspection, all of which must strictly adhere to safety regulations and construction standards.

1. Foundation Preparation and Site Requirements

Before installation, ensure the ground is level and select an appropriate foundation based on the type of house:

  • Assembled container houses: Install the bottom frame on the ground or a workbench. Use hexagon socket bolts to connect the bottom corners of the container to the bottom beams. Adjust the diagonal difference of the bottom frame to be ≤3mm before tightening the bolts.
  • Foldable container houses: Check the stability of the steel wire ropes. Lift the main frame and unfold it, placing support rods in the middle of the container to maintain stability.
  • Long-term outdoor use scenarios: Plan the flatness of the foundation in advance, embed drainage pipes, and construct concrete piers or steel frames at the corners for reinforcement, enhancing wind and earthquake resistance.

2. Frame Installation and Structural Reinforcement

Frame installation is crucial for the stability of container houses:

  • Assembled container houses: When installing π-shaped secondary beams, fix them according to the positioning holes of the long beams. Use self-tapping screws and round-head drill-tail screws to connect the bottom beams to the secondary beams. Lay the floor base plates along the 6-meter direction, cutting the corners at the joints and marking with chalk lines before nailing them in place.
  • Steel-structured container houses: Weld square tube columns to steel beams. Use a plumb line to adjust the verticality of the steel beams, ensuring the component dimensions meet the requirements. After installing the columns and beams, weld horizontal supports and insert steel beams to enhance the overall structural stability.

3. Wall, Roof, and Interior Decoration

  • Wall installation: Reserve positions for doors and windows before installing the wall panels. After installing the exterior walls, install the roof panels, paying attention to roof waterproofing.
  • Interior decoration: This includes floor sanding, applying PVC-specific floor adhesive, and laying floor coverings. When installing doors and windows, ensure they are tightly sealed with no gaps. Perform waterproofing on windows after installation. Use steel plates or angle iron for stair treads, and firmly fix the floor and railings.
  • Concealed works: Strictly construct water and electricity installations, electrical installations, moisture-proofing, and waterproofing to avoid issues such as water leakage and insulation failure in the later stages.

4. Acceptance Inspection and Safety Regulations

After installation, conduct a self-inspection to ensure the roof and walls are level, the ridge lines and water-adding parts are straight, and the connectors are secure. Notify the client to pour the ground and install the wiring before proceeding with PVC ceiling panel installation. Non-professionals should not stand under foldable container houses or cranes to avoid safety accidents.
