Construction of Fixed Public Toilets
Qinyuan Public Toilet and its rest station were officially put into use on June 13, 2025, serving as a typical example of facilities related to advanced portable toilets in Wujiagang District. This public toilet is built following the principles of functionality, comfort, practicality, and artistry, with complete internal facilities. It is equipped with a constant-temperature air conditioner that can adjust the indoor temperature according to different seasons and time periods, providing a comfortable environment for users. The fresh air and deodorization systems can effectively improve the air quality inside the toilet and reduce odors. The intelligent sanitation system can monitor data such as the toilet's foot traffic, usage status, temperature, humidity, and ammonia levels in real time, enabling managers to grasp the toilet's operating status promptly and carry out reasonable scheduling and maintenance. The rest station next to the public toilet is also very thoughtful, equipped with devices such as refrigerators, seats, coffee tables, water dispensers, and medicine cabinets, providing a short resting space for urban workers such as sanitation workers and couriers, reflecting humanized design.
Public Toilet Renovation Work
Wujiagang District has continuously promoted the construction and renovation of public toilets in a "rest-station style", achieving remarkable results. A total of 54 public toilets in the district have been renovated, and 7 "rest-station-style public toilets" have been put into use. In summer, some public toilet rest stations also activate a "cooling mode", providing free services such as air-conditioned cooling and water and power charging, further enhancing the service functions and quality of public toilets and meeting the needs of citizens in different scenarios.
