Wuhu Mobile Toilet
Currently, there is one mobile toilet in Wuhu located on the outer embankment of the park. In January 2026, an additional one was added but has not yet been put into use. The Wuhu Greenway also plans to build ten public toilets. Here is a detailed introduction:
Current Mobile Toilet Situation
Before the托管移交 (trusteeship transfer) of Wuhu Riverside Park, due to the lack of water and electricity supply within the park, the originally planned toilets could not be used and were temporarily used as greening management rooms. To meet the toilet needs of visitors, a mobile toilet was set up on the outer embankment of the park in the early stage. This mobile toilet has, to a certain extent, alleviated the toilet difficulties for tourists and provided convenience for people engaging in activities around the park.
New Mobile Toilet Situation
After the trusteeship transfer, to further improve service levels and better meet the needs of tourists, an additional mobile toilet was installed next to the existing one in January 2026. At present, the newly added toilet has been installed in place, but the work of applying for water and electricity connections is still in progress, so it does not yet meet the conditions for use. Relevant departments expect that the newly added mobile toilet can be officially put into use in mid-July 2026. At that time, the number of mobile toilets around Wuhu Riverside Park will increase, enabling it to better cope with the toilet needs during peak tourist periods and enhance the tourist experience.
Planned Construction Situation
In addition to the existing and upcoming mobile toilets, the planning of the Wuhu Greenway also mentions the construction of ten public toilets. The construction of these public toilets will further improve the public facility配套 (supporting facilities) in the Wuhu area, providing residents and tourists with a more convenient and comfortable toilet environment. The reasonable layout and construction of public toilets will not only enhance the overall image of the Wuhu area but also contribute to promoting the development of local tourism and attracting more tourists to come for sightseeing.
