Mobile Toilets at Wuhan Scenic Spots
Some scenic spots in Wuhan have set up mobile toilets or added new public toilet facilities to address the issue of tourists' toilet access. Here are the specific details:

Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street: As a well-known commercial pedestrian street in Wuhan, Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street often poses a challenge for tourists, especially the elderly, in finding restrooms during their visit due to its long length. To solve this problem, mobile public toilets have been added to the street. The addition of these mobile toilets has effectively alleviated the toilet access difficulties for tourists and enhanced their experience on the pedestrian street.
Shahu Park Area C: During periods of high tourist traffic, such as the World Garden Expo and the May Day holiday, Shahu Park Area C sees a large number of visitors, and the existing restroom facilities are often insufficient to meet the demand. Therefore, the park has arranged mobile environmentally friendly public restrooms. These mobile toilets, which resemble buses in appearance, are well-equipped. They have five independent small restrooms, each equipped with a sink and hand soap for tourists to clean their hands after use. Additionally, they feature an air conditioning system to provide a comfortable restroom environment, and the space is just right. Park staff arrive at their posts as early as 5:30 a.m. every day, carefully inspect each toilet stall to ensure safety and hygiene, and work until the end of the afternoon peak tourist period to ensure the normal operation and cleanliness of the mobile toilets.
Lingbomen Pier Scenic Area: Previously, there were no public toilets along the 2.5-kilometer stretch of the Lingbomen Pier Scenic Area, causing great inconvenience for tourists in need of restroom facilities. On April 1, 2024, a brand-new public toilet was officially put into use 200 meters away from the scenic area. Located in the lakeside green space, this public toilet has a streamlined appearance that harmonizes with the surrounding environment. Inside, it is clean and tidy, equipped with sinks, hand dryers, and other facilities. In terms of toilet stall settings, there are seven urinals and four squat toilets in the men's restroom, and ten squat toilets in the women's restroom. It also has barrier-free facilities to meet the restroom needs of different tourist groups.
