Where to Find Bricks for Prefabricated Assembled Houses

Admin September 18, 2026

The bricks for prefabricated assembled houses mainly come from concrete prefabricated bricks, Chunlai modular bricks, and prefabricated modules in the E-MIC prefabricated concrete box-type housing system, among others. Here is a detailed introduction:

Concrete prefabricated bricks: These are a relatively common type of brick material in prefabricated assembled houses. Their materials are rich and diverse, covering cement, plastic, colored concrete, etc. Different materials endow concrete prefabricated bricks with different characteristics. For example, bricks made of cement are sturdy and durable, those made of plastic may have better waterproof performance, and colored concrete can meet diverse aesthetic needs. There are many well-known brands producing concrete prefabricated bricks in the market, such as Weide, Jinshuo Cement, and Xingsheng Building Materials. These bricks also come in a wide variety of shapes, including rectangular, plate-like, and polygonal, which can be selected according to different architectural designs and structural requirements. In terms of performance, the compressive strength range of concrete prefabricated bricks is quite large, from 3.5 mpa to 1000 mpa, enabling them to adapt to building scenarios with different strength requirements.

Chunlai modular bricks: Produced by Hunan Sujian Modular Brick Technology Co., Ltd., which was formerly Zhejiang Jiaxing Shuangding Building Materials Co., Ltd. Chunlai modular bricks adopt a combination of the ancient three-soil method and modern modular wall technology, giving them unique structural advantages. Their mortise-and-tenon joint + steel bar perfusion structure significantly improves the seismic performance of houses, increasing the seismic capacity by 200% compared to traditional buildings. In terms of material selection, Chunlai modular bricks use natural minerals and make full use of waste materials, achieving zero sintering and zero pollution, which aligns with the green and environmentally friendly architectural concept.

E-MIC prefabricated concrete box-type housing system: Independently developed by China Construction First Bureau (Group) Co., Ltd. This system is based on digital and modular design. It completes a series of tasks such as component splitting, pipeline layout, and housing unit combination simulation on the computer, shifting a large amount of traditional work to the factory in advance and achieving standardized and integrated production. Its basic units include three types: prefabricated concrete modules, prefabricated beams, and prefabricated slabs. After these prefabricated components are produced in the factory, they are transported to the site for rapid assembly, greatly shortening the construction period and improving building efficiency.
