What Materials Are Used for Mobile Toilets

Admin September 22, 2026

Mobile toilets use a variety of materials, with different parts adopting different materials to meet functional requirements.

  1. Main Structure: Usually made of galvanized steel pipes or light steel structures. Galvanized steel pipes have excellent rust resistance, effectively withstanding erosion from the external environment and extending the toilet's service life. Light steel structures, on the other hand, have good load-bearing capacity, ensuring that the toilet remains stable and does not deform even after multiple liftings and relocations. Additionally, there are mobile toilets whose main bodies are welded from high-quality galvanized square pipes and galvanized steel sheets, with high-temperature spray coating on the surface, further enhancing rust resistance and aesthetic appeal.
  2. Wall Sections: Sandwich panels are the mainstream choice, including "color-steel sandwich panels" or "composite panels." These panels have color-coated steel sheets or aluminum sheets on both sides, with polystyrene, rock wool, or polyurethane foam in the middle. This structure not only provides good thermal insulation, offering a relatively comfortable internal environment for users, but is also lightweight, facilitating easy movement and installation.
  3. Interior Linings and Floors:
    • Common interior wall materials include high-density PVC boards or stainless steel sheets. High-density PVC boards have a smooth surface, are less prone to staining, and can be easily cleaned with a simple rinse. Stainless steel sheets also have the characteristics of easy cleaning and corrosion resistance, ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the interior walls.
    • Floors are often made of non-slip patterned aluminum sheets or rubber flooring. Non-slip patterned aluminum sheets effectively prevent slipping by the elderly and children while being resistant to acid and alkali corrosion, making them less likely to be damaged even with frequent use of cleaning agents. Rubber flooring, on the other hand, has good elasticity and non-slip properties, providing a safer and more comfortable user experience. Some high-end mobile toilets also add a fiberglass anti-corrosion layer to the chassis to prevent leakage and odor leakage.
  4. Other Parts:
    • Water tanks and sewage pipes are mostly made of PE (polyethylene) material. PE material has good toughness and low-temperature resistance, making it less likely to crack in winter and ensuring the normal operation of water tanks and sewage pipes.
    • Some intelligent eco-toilets also use photocatalyst coatings on their inner walls, which can decompose odor molecules, reducing the use of chemical deodorants and being more environmentally friendly and healthy.
    • Hardware components such as door panels, door locks, and handrails are mostly made of engineering plastics or stainless steel materials, ensuring long-term use without rusting or deformation and improving durability.
