Weifang Botanical Garden Mobile Toilet
The mobile toilet at Weifang Botanical Garden is the first 5G smart public toilet in Shandong Province, officially put into use on June 1st, featuring a technological appearance, smart functions, and green and low-carbon characteristics.

I. Appearance and Smart Functions
The public toilet adopts a streamlined design with a combination of black and milky white, incorporating Weifang kite elements and a smart screen, combining fashion sense with regional cultural characteristics. The entrance is equipped with an automatic glass door and a body temperature monitor that can automatically measure the temperature of visitors. Inside, there is a public toilet guidance system that displays real-time information on toilet occupancy status, temperature, humidity, and ammonia concentration, enhancing user convenience. Additionally, the public toilet supports functions such as smart charging and smart vending to meet diverse needs.
II. Spatial Layout and Facility Configuration
The public toilet has three independent restrooms, one men's urinal room, and one accessible restroom. The independent restrooms are equipped with makeup mirrors, shelves, coat hooks, squat toilets, urinals, alcohol hand sanitizers, smart odor and bacteria removal machines, and automatic sensor lights. Some restrooms also include special folding toilets for the elderly, baby care stations, and one-touch emergency call systems. The accessible restroom features automatic sensor doors and barrier-free pathways to facilitate use by individuals with disabilities.
III. Green and Low-Carbon Technology
The public toilet utilizes nano waterless urinals and microbial degradation technology to achieve resourceful treatment of waste. The urinals do not require water for flushing, and the squat toilets are activated by stepping on a pedal. The waste is degraded by microbes, sterilized at high temperatures, and dried into carbon dioxide, water, and organic fertilizer raw materials, which can be transported to farms for recycling. Based on the calculation of 5 liters of water per use in traditional flush toilets, this public toilet can save 4 to 5 tons of water per day for every 1,000 users.
IV. Integrated Smart Equipment
The public toilet is equipped with smart odor and bacteria removal machines, people flow sensors, temperature and humidity sensors, air conditioners, smart hand dryers, automatic paper dispensers, sensor trash bins, and 24-hour smart sterilization and odor removal machines to ensure a clean and odor-free environment. The automatic paper dispensers and sensor trash bins further reduce human contact, enhancing hygiene standards.
