Waterproof Container House Model

Admin September 14, 2026

The waterproof container house model is a type of housing model that breaks down an entire house into standardized modules. Most of the construction processes, including waterproofing, are completed in the factory, and then the modules are transported to the destination for rapid assembly into a complete building.

Construction Mode

  • Modular Disassembly: The entire building is disassembled into individual housing modules, such as the floor, roof, and four side panels. These modules undergo the installation of the main structure, water and electricity pipelines, bathroom waterproofing, bathroom fixtures, cabinets, and wardrobes inside the factory, all completed on the factory assembly line.
  • Factory Prefabrication: In the factory, a parallel operation mode is adopted, with multiple processes carried out simultaneously. For example, in a structural modular smart factory in Guangdong, a fully automated production line over 400 meters long operates continuously. Welding, assembly, and grinding robots work in coordination, and AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles) shuttle back and forth in the workshop. Multiple components of a house are produced simultaneously on multiple sub-production lines and finally assembled into a complete container at the end of the production line.

Waterproof Characteristics

  • Factory Precision Handling: On the factory assembly line, the waterproofing of key areas such as bathrooms can be carried out with precision. The manufacturing accuracy is stably controlled within the range of 1 to 2 millimeters, ensuring waterproof quality.
  • Overall Waterproof Design: During the design and construction of container house modules, the overall waterproof performance is taken into account. From the structure to the selection of materials, waterproofing is an important consideration to adapt to different usage environments and climatic conditions.

Application Scenarios

  • Residential Field: It can be used to build villas, small houses, apartments, etc. For example, a luxurious small residential prefabricated living pod, a 20-foot modern modular container house, is suitable for a villa garden office; modular prefabricated cottages can serve as park villas.
  • Commercial and Public Fields: It is suitable for hotels, campsites, office buildings, schools, and other places. For example, prefabricated modular steel space capsule houses are suitable for hotels and campsites; prefabricated modular offices in factory buildings can be quickly transported to residential areas, apartments, and other places for use.
  • Temporary Housing: It can serve as on-site living container houses, packing-box units, and movable prefabricated houses on construction sites, meeting the needs of temporary living and office work.
