Water-Storing Portable Toilet
Water-storing portable toilets can be made using water storage barrels or tanks, with diverse types and flexible, distinctive manufacturing methods.

Making with Water Storage Barrels
Some young men have made portable toilets using water storage barrels. The specific steps are as follows: First, split the water storage barrel in half lengthwise to provide basic materials for subsequent structural construction. Then, fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board to facilitate the movement of the entire portable toilet, allowing it to be adjusted flexibly according to actual needs. Next, fix wooden strips on the upper side of the barrel to increase height, providing a more comfortable space for users. Cut an opening on the side of the water storage barrel and install a door frame, walls, and a roof to create a relatively enclosed usage environment. Drill a hole at the bottom of the barrel and install a drainage pipe to form a floor drain for easy sewage discharge. Drill holes on the side and connect them to interfaces, then place a plastic bucket to form a small water storage device for storing flushing water, etc. This manufacturing method fully utilizes the water storage function of the water storage barrel and combines it with other materials to construct a complete portable toilet structure. It has relatively low costs and a relatively simple manufacturing process, making it suitable for individual or small-scale scenarios.
Making with Water Storage Tanks
Some young men have also made portable toilets using water storage tanks and pallets. Water storage tanks have strong water storage capabilities and can meet the water needs of portable toilets to a certain extent. The pallet serves to support and fix the structure. Place the water storage tank on the pallet and combine it with other necessary components, such as walls and roofs, to build a water-storing portable toilet. This method also offers mobility, and the capacity of the water storage tank can be selected flexibly according to the actual number of users and usage frequency.
Common Types of Portable Toilets
Portable toilets are generally composed of fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), etc., and can be divided into various types according to sewage treatment methods. Water-flush and non-water-flush suction-type portable toilets: the former requires a certain amount of water for flushing, while the latter treats fecal sewage through suction. Recirculating water-flush portable toilets save water resources by recycling and treating sewage for reuse. Dry-packing portable toilets package feces and other waste in a dry manner without the need for water flushing, making them suitable for water-scarce areas or scenarios with high environmental protection requirements.
